my 07 cultus has a strange problem.it has loss of power from 2100 to 2300 rpm.i.e in this region the car jerks badly.jerks increases with ac.i have replace plugs, plug wires, distributor rotor, but still it jerks.this prob is on cng,
vacuum advance seems ok.rotor also snaps back swiftly.what else can be the prob.one more thing its hard to get my car to 120 above

helo pw , just need one suggestion about polishing and detailing ,,,,,,,,,car is all in original paint escept bumpers ,,,,,,its silky silver in color ,,,,,means it has a shiny lacquer coat ,,,,,,,,,only been treated with Cosmic polish couple of times since it leave factory ,,,,,,,,,i purchase this variable speed angle grinder along with a buffer ,,,,,also made one from ordinary foam,,,,,,,,,,i have a formula car wax,,,,,,,

will that all be helpfull ?........and what polish/wax you guys suggest ,,,,,,,,i really have no knowlege about such stuffs,,,,,,,,

Wow I must say a very nice effort on the angle grinder/polisher. The pads look quite nice.
Anyways head on to care care and detailer thread and seek professional advice detailing and polishing.

that wheel on that grinder using that polish will end up in round halos all over the car, Get a dual action orbit polisher.

btw - to shine up the thermostat housing, first clean with a very powerful surfactant and hot water. Then use a very mild solution of hydroflouric acid to brighten it up, it will look like it just came out of the foundry. Hydroflouric acid is extremely dangerous as it can pull calcium out of your body so be extra extra careful with it.

Reminds me of myself - I usually had a bunch of such stuff lying around - you never know when you might need it.

a branded Dual action buffer will easily cost more than 20k, don't know about used.

if a guy is working on just one car than imo it is wise to get a good quality abrasive and do it by hand when you have time

I consider it a job best left to Pro who have the DA. Those folks charge quite a large sum for a job. So if you have multiple cars or are a hardcore DIY till you die then 20K is a worthy investment.

if you already have a DA or rotary buffer, then this job will cost around 3k with quality products, though i just love a certain abrasive by meguiars (wont tell its name :P,its a secret), that is very effective on shitzuki paint and really makes it a less tedious job even by hand

at the moment its nasty - as in super nasty, rain fling off stuck on the car, the only saving grace for driving is that the headlamp wipers have cleaned a path in the optics section and the windscreen wiper has cleaned a path for me to see. It does shine up like a penny when I get in gear to do so.

thats a nice tip ,,,,,,,i dont like such ugly metal on engine ,,,,,,,,,next time during any engine overhaul i will do that ,,,,,,,,BTW in my last engine overhaulling i use a steel buff to clean such metal ,,,,,,,,,

i wish such professionals are available here in pakistan as well ,,,,,,,,,,,,,they use similar grinder with a white buffer wheel as i shown above (not the one made from foam),,,,,,,,,simply grind off the paint and after 5 to 6 visits you can see grey color primer out from paint ,,,,,,,,,my 2D have such spots on it in some places and that car is all the way handelled by totoya 3S by its previous owner,,,,,,
