Dont know if its just my cultus (2008) but the upper part of the dash was faded overtime and finally the car not in use so decided to fix it but was unable to find any decent solution with directions on pakwheel so decided to do a DIY first rather than spending 7k (3S price for upper dash is 5k and labor is 2k) to get it changed and not knowing if it can be repainted at home or not.
Things needed:
3 spray can = 100rs each (i used the cheap one which is a temp fix but you guys can go for expensive one and maybe get hands on primer cans aswell)
paper tape=30rs
news papers=old ones
Time required:
1 hours to 2 hours at max
Skill level:
Min
Result: Its a temp fix (due to cheap cans) but looks way to good for me to change it to new upper dash of same boring grey color.
Suggestion: If this motivates you to try it yourself than i suggest you either track expensive cans used for painting and add a layer or two of primer aswell or if you can get your hands on plasti dip cans than the results will be simply wow.
