i need to know the price of side AC vent .. as my left side vent is little broken due to some engineering work performed by my son ..

Last Saturday, my car service station person also broke the last blade of the front left grill. Now it does not move with other blades.
Let me know to if any aftermarket replacement is available or not.
Else, I will use Elfy to fix the broken blade at one place.

Xulfiqar is right in that, thats is why Cultus has problems with slight over-heating. My mechanic says that too, but he does not alter that and says not to mess with the specs and factory fittings. And says the best way is to use engine coolent and thinner oil with good heat resistant qualities.

i am using 10w40 .. i hope the viscocity is OK for cultus

10W40 is quite OK for Cultus, but the oil quality differs when it comes under heat test. Good oils resist engine heating very well. Typical examples are oils that are recommended both for Petrol and Diesel engines, they are pretty tough.

I have a 2004 model Alto VXR done 105,000Kms and still running great with no complaints at all both Engine and Body wise besides it runs around 125 Kms daily except friday saturday and sunday ... the only thing i do to maintain it just change Engine Oil + Oil & Ail filter after every 5000Kms plugs first time after 50000Kms and second time on 95000Kms and gear oil first time after 35000kms and after that on every 25000Kms. When i bought it i just drove it 1200Kms on petrol and since then i convert it daily on petrol in night and first start on petrol

Yeah... great man. I also let my car sleep on petrol, it's a good night's sleep for them and they wake up in da mornin on just half or less self even on my Suzuki FX haha. (A)

good coolant u using ... am using ZIC also works good for me ..

car updates .... car is good mashaallah .. faced liitle issue with alternator regulator .. which makes me worried but now mashaallah replaced new cost 600/- ... now works perfectly ..

You got the neck for this there will be no problem, Zic is good no doubt.

check this topic danish told us its 3.60 litres with oil filter , basically car needs 3 litres but 0.5 or 0.6 litres stays in oil filter that makes it 3.5 or 3.6 litres in total , i have been doing it in my car or all my friends and relatives cultus !!

Umair: Make it 3.5 or 3.6.... since your driving mostly is from office to Home and the flat Lyari Highway .... for this not a big problem..... so for the moment add .5 Ltrs to it --- or for the next oil change get liters cann, pour .5 ltrs from it rest 3.5 Liters for the upcoming oil change.

umair whats the difference btw zic hilfo 10w40 or zic a 10w40 ? and does caltex have 10w40 if any one would know ?

ZIC Hiflo is 20W50
ZIC A is 10W40 (synthetic formula or semi synthetic)
ZIC A+ (5w** (Synthetic) ...
ZIC XQ is 5w40 (synthetic)

@kamran .. ok ... but tell u one thing .. our ex ride is like 170k or plus driven and we use to put 3 litres .. engine was perfect till we sold that .. current car is now 55k kms driven .. car is perfect MASHAALLAH ..
i would say if somebody could ask XULFIQAR for this i mean the amount of oil we have to put in .. and yes i agree 3.5 litrs is OK

if i remember correctly i believe i have already ask xulfiqar and he said its 3.50 litres for cultus and he recommend to use 10w40 as cultus has hydrolic lifters !!

yes 10w40 is the factory recommendation .. and yes last time Carachi motors put 3.5 litres in the other cultus we have @ home ..

i will increase the amount of oil in my car ... next oil change time is near ..

good boy i am using caltex20w50 havoline at the moment but i am gonna change to zic a 10w40 in my next oil change with vic oil filter , most of the people recommend me not to drain oil from that drain machine mostly petrol pump use so i would try a drain method this time !!

10w40 is the factory recommendation so i used that ..
good choice to change the oil ... zic is good

i always use the old method of oil drain .. open the nut take out the filter ..
