I have a Cultus 2003 petrol. The problem with the Car is that it starts on a very low RPM sometimes as low as 200. The engine does not shutoff but it gives a lot of jerks. The idle RPM is set to 1000. When I press the accelerator pedal, it attains the stable idle RPM of 1000.
In the morning the car takes a long self to start and I have to press accelerator pedal for quick start.
What could be the reason for these problems?

get your auto choke checked ... if faulty then no issue .. u just need to get it disconnected and get your car tuned from a good mechanic ..

as autochoke part is hard to find ...

Most probably the RPM setting is low. There is a good chance that the problem will be solved just by simple tuning.

The idle RPM setting is 1000.
The problem just happens at startup.
If there is a problem with RPM setting, then why it only happens
at startup. The problem happens whether the car is hot or cold.

In the morning choke always start. Although most of the time it starts from 1000 and rises to 1500 slowly. And sometimes immediately jumps to 2000. and as soon as it warms up it gets to 1000.

u need to get your carburetor .. looks like some setting issue ... thats not a problem of auto choke ..

It is usually an issue of mixture, as at cold startups it needs relatively a rick mixture to get stable gradually. Get your carburetor checked and tweaked accordingly. But this thing can not vanish totally as you might have advance the timings of your car for better performance over CNG, and over cold startups you will have to face such problems.
So to eliminate this, turn off your car on Petrol if you think it is going to be shut down for more than 4 hours. So you will cold start over Petrol. And using an external advancer device can also help in this case.
