and i personally believe that the late 90s to early 2002/3 was the golden period of our local auto industry, there was some sort of competition and the cars rolled out in those days were of far better quality than anything else today

Thanks usman!. I think they costed 3300 rs back in May..You're right about the dirt part, i clean them after every two weeks or so

urs is cool beige metallic right? its the best color according to the maintenance point of view, dust hardly visible on this color.. there is one in my street too (2007 model) looks clean even when its dirty

& there use to be a golden metallic color offered in the early cultus, was a darker n more saturated version of yours if u remember that color

Yes usman mine is the cool beige version..MASHALLAH seh a very good and unique colour...i remmember the darker shade of this colour, i thought it had something to do with the paint aging..turns out its a different colour altogether :D..wonder if PAK suzuki has the colour matching facility for all its metallic colours LOL

well i really miss those approx 16 colors which cultus use to come with, when launched back in 2000, there were alone 6 shades of green! Red was one of my favorites too, and there use to be a purple metallic in cultus too but its very very rare

my beast encountered an unfortunate fender bender today, poor thing will need a bumper, front light and indicator along with fender repairing/replacement along with paint. Thank God the bonnet and other side is fine. Zaalim nazar i tell you

sad to hear that akbar, how did it happened? and the damage estimate? obviously it must be insured but any idea how much does the bumper & head lights cost?

lotus bro.. God forbid if your car get hit, would u prefer to keep it in damaged state just for people to call it 'original' or will prefer to repair/ repaint it??

and yes there were 16 colors offered when cultus were launched... most of these colors were discontinued later on. i can also give u the list here but i dont know the exact name of the color shade, will try to generate them through photoshop if i have time.. the colors were

1. White
2. Black
3. Silver metallic
4. Gun metallic (grey)
5. Golden Brown metallic (darker n more saturated version of cool beige)
6. Keen Gold (light greenish gold (see timmer's cultus) was more popular in baleno & cultus)
7. Bottle Green metallic
8. Sea green metallic
9. Aqua Green Metallic
10. Parrot green metallic
11. Bluish green metallic (was there till late 2003 models)
12. Red
13. Sky Blue Metallic
14. Maroon metallic
15. Medium Purple metallic (same as alto anniversary edition)
16. Lavendar metallic

Hey guys, I have been looking for a Cultus 2000 / 01 for months but I am unable to find one. It seems people are reluctant to let these cars go. May be has to do with the insane price hike. I don't find any cars in the classifieds as well. If you guys know someone who is willing to sell one, I will be really happy to see it. My range though is 350 ish.

i was already looking for you, but u know no one is willing to sell of their cars these days.. perhaps wait for some time and dont make any decision in hurry. one of my colleauge is also looking for a 00-01 cultus after seeing mine, and he too is unable to find one yet!
