my first ride.. charde 82... at that time all our 3 cars were white... inset is the pic of my charade recently spotted by me years after selling it off also posted at PW before

this was my fx, bought if after selling off charade.. & then the entry of my cultus, these are the very first pix of my dear cultus and were not captured by a digital cam so the quality is bad due to manual scanning.. it use to have the genuine VXL style wheel caps when i bought it.

the JDM Alto is very very spacious.. you wont believe its a 660cc once u get in it. and in just 4.5 lac its loaded with EPS, Power retract side mirrors, Power Windows, Airbags, ABS Brakes, Tinted glasses, Auto transmission, FF key less entry, chilled AC, rear seatbelts, reverse buzzer, and lots of other cool features...

the couple of advantages i see of my cultus over this alto is that the alto doesn't have rear split seats, while the cultus have! handy when u have to carry luggage.. and lack of assist grips, cultus has 3 while this alto has only 1.. maintenance of cultus is way cheaper but considering the price & features offered, Jap Alto is a best buy!

So friends here are few pics from my side..The Meter colour is the same as that comes with 98 corolla GLi ....the 3 spke steering wheel has more grip as compare to the previous 2 spoke one, I also changed the sound system.. but one thing i dont like it is that the colour of door panels n front dash panel is not matching now.. 8-|

@ Zubair..Nice Mehran u got in past!! BTW i didnt buy the meter seperatly, I buy the whole Dashboard at RS 7,500 last yaer (including wiring + a normal cassate palyer not the one installed now) Steering wheel cost me RS: 1500.. Last year when i consult pak suzki showroom to buy the new dash .. it likely to cost me around 20k + Then i decided to buy this one, its better in quality too.

The Mehran i got looked nice from out side but since was my first car it was the worst deal ever... RUSt in even those places where u can't imagine... like on nuts of SunShades ...

Few more for your eyes...The meter used to be of an automatic transmission car!! its got 160 km on its dial the maximum speed (H)

looking really nice zebno. but u are right as the color doesn't really match with the grey interior of cultus... but its for sure better than the stock 2 spoked steering wheel. one thing more that i notice ur side view mirror to be a little different from normal. have u installed margalla side mirrors? & since when do u own this car.. this was one of the better color options in suzuki lineup but don't know why they discontinued it in 2007 :s

Well i dont know about the side mirrors.. i changed the passanger side door (as a whole) including mirror..yes the right one is tht of margalla i guess bt belive me its really good kafi martaba lag cuka hai dosri gari k sath during crossing bt still working Yes i like this colour as well..but i wounder i didnt witnessed the coulour of your car . i mean i didnt see a single cultus moving on road with this colour tht u have.. ya shayed maine kabhi ghor na kia hoo.. cheers!!!!

i noticed ur mirrors because margalla & cultus side mirros are same shape wise, but black plastic in margalla side mirrors were glossy & cultus ones are kind of matte finish... no gloss also the mirror is framed in a plastic outline in margallas but comes without any frame in cultus perhaps a cost effective measure by paksuzuki..

as i mentioned earlier, cultus when launched was available in about 16 colors which were discontinued in 2001.. so there were plenty of nice colours to choose from but since they were discontinued very early, so u hardly see them on roads today... mine is one among those colors

Engine is in preety good n genuine condition, still throw water from exaust silencer (H) Its about 130,000 km done..recently did the shocks work (Refilled The Front One)

Now chimty need to be replaced coz tis producing sound on bumpy roads & the control of the car while driving is not good
