Before this I was using Emirates - Power Drive cost Rs 1380 ( 4 litr) , but now not avialable :(.

Two years back Shell HX7 that time the cost was 1480 or more (acceptable) but now 1965

good going Kamran. although i have no idea about the brand that u mentioned, never experienced it, but petroleum products are too expensive now. i remember when i first got my cultus oil changed, it costed only 590 Rs. for 3 liter pack (Shell Helix Red), now the same is nearly 1000

man the way you maintain ur car is absolutly appreciable but people with more knowledge will always critisize you on the short interval you change your engine oil you pay 1400 + for eninge oil after every 2K i will suggest you flush your engnine oil at next interval and switch to CALTEX Havoline Fully synthetic 5w 50 which would cost you 2300 per 4 litre bottle and use it till 5K you save more then rs 300 not first time but next because flushing your previous oil will cost you rs 250 - 300 ..

less viscosity will increase your gas and petrol milage..

if your are unable to get this caltex oil then use mobil 1 A+ grade but these should fully synthetic

Kamran bro, i have been using this engine oil for my cultus since june 2010. I highly recommend it. You might not believe, but i have used it for 7000 kms once (in winter), and secondly because 90% of my traveling is on motorway. Well within city and in summer i think minimum 3500 should be fair. Last time i got it changed at 6000 and the mechanic said "as per its look and touch, you can still use it for 1000 KMs". Just be sure that you are buying it from a valid distributor. @Usman: Please suggest about this oil -- I have bought it after the advise from a friend -- this costed me 1450 (4 litrs) the seller said you can run it upto 4K Kms, but I am person who changes the oil at 1.5K or 2K max.

Its Saudi Made and I trust them when it comes to oil and Petrol (H).

My car is not CNG and I do not even pull her more tha 2 RPM --- and I love her for the way she walks even today.

I got my car back from MANDIVALLA --- classic clean well undercoated and smells little less than new after all these yers.

Which brand is better for Oil&Air Filter? Guard or SGP? U got Oil&Air filter both for 270Rs ?

I get the Oil Filter on a promise of my shopwala -- since they know me from years mostly they are Malaysian made dont know the name -- but this time is was suzuki and my oil change wala was satisfied to place else he would have said no this is not good.

And for Air Filter I get any good one, and I do not dust it after it get even little dusty I replace it with new one --- which are not more than rupees 140 or 160.

I agree CALTEX Havoline is CLass when we talk for oils, we have been using since years for my TAYA's 2005 CiviC-Orial.

But cause my car engine is non-efi (G10 from year 1989 or back) for this these high-fi oils are of no good to her, casue she will not utilize it properly as planned for the oil.

As for Mobil all range is easily avialable (dont know the price for it) but again the G10 does not deserves it

and so is my LIANA...
The difference is only: i got from 200->225 Kms/Cylender and now i get 180->200Kms/Cylender...
And yes there is a difference in the drive and also the engine oil maintainence amount...

I dont feel happy as there is no one around with cultus with this great sense to take care as yours.

and I always copy you when it comes in taking care of cultus - As its said:- Its better to Copy, then to Cheat
