Cuore 2000 suspension, engine work

A lot has happened after my that post in last 1-2 months.Car is running fine within city,didnt take it on a long route.Once engine became hot & mechanic did fan direct,also got radiator serviced then,gasket was changed too with non genuine one.For few days car was turning off when idling or when slowing down near speed breakers so electrician replaced the point too.Right front wheel was heating up so local shop mechanic changed caliper & after that master cylinder of brake.Front both wheels hubs were replaced at Toyota with kabli at cost of 5000/hub.Now car runs fine within city on 15-20 kilometers of my daily ride,still right front wheel is more hot on touching as compared to left side.i have more posts with some pics there too in thread Cuore fan club,some seals of engine leak too so a friend advised to get them changed & get pressure,clutch plates checked also gear oil & gear box for any leakage.Also I am going to replace all tyres with new General tyres as they aren't costly & brand new.I am also planing to get air conditioner running after service but that after work of engine seals leakage,electrician told it will cost around 4-4.5K on service of AC.Now it is a difficult decision to sell the car & get another one so I plan to keep it for 1-2 years if it run well without going to workshops often until I learn driving well & collect some more money for a newer model.Now I go to a local workshop mechanic for all mechanical problems of car.
It was my mistake to go to Toyota for 1st car checkup,they are too costly plus they are used to see new engines of new cars so this old engine looks ancient to their eyes.‎

This All Will Go Alon But I Really Suspect And Doubt How Come Someone Recommend Such A Car When Its All Work Required In It??

sorry to say but most advisors experiment on other's expenses ... re-emphasing again :
-- find a competant mechanic
-- act on his advice only
-- i know one who can guide u (sms to get his contact no)
-- no need of new tires (used r good enough in fair price)
-- do not over spend .. nothing will pay back
-- i know ac mechanic as well
-- a wheel hot on touching is normal .. is it smelling like burning or get problem in braking
-- ac service and gas filling maybe 4k but what is the condition of internals .. condenser .. compressor .. evaporator .. leakages .. seals etc

mechanic did a good con job .. wheel still heats up .... ur posts r just raising my blood pressure on ur innocence or lack of knowledge, poor advisors and parasitic mechanics

Thanx Naweed sb for your interest & help offered.i will surely be in touch with you.Had you advised me earlier would have been a different situation but may be you were busy then, anyhow it is never too late.i also asked senior member CervinVega for his advice,he suggested to sell car & get newer model Mehran.i asked Xulfiqar sb too but seems he is too busy ,he didn't respond.
Now I am not in position to spend much or at once on this car work so I decided to spend low & slow as per requirement. Another PW member dayrider also told about a mechanic but I didn't go to him as I didn't decide for a major engine work or overhaul.I will contact you on your number soon.
About tyres I have discussions in cuore fan club thread, kabli costs around 8K & General new costs 10K that's why I decided to get new but still I didn't changed them

okay. Step one don't do anything to the car without consulting here

looks like you bought a sort of basket case, dont worry - you can get through it.

break down the jobs into different parts, e.g. you mention one wheel is hotter than the other, this problem is almost always related to the brake caliper (if disc) or drum mechanicals (if drum), there are tons of threads here explaining what is needed for a correct brake job. Get that info and find a mechanic who can use that info and apply it too. Mind you this can also be due to the rubber pipes near the wheels, If they are old - they can act like valves and drag the brakes.

Do this one step at a time, meaning, brake job in one step, steering/joints/suspension in one step. Do not try to mangle up multiple jobs at once.

first of i think the brakes and tie rod ends should be checked. The luxuries can be dealt with later. Safety is the main concern

don't throw away any parts that come off of your car

Thanx a lot Xulfiqar Sir for replying & giving me confidence. I am so happy you advised me & showed how to proceed wisely.Before the work by mechanic on wheel it was getting very hot,giving smoke & car wasn't moving anymore like there is no power but now it runs fine,when I touch wheels after 15 kilometers ride I feel right wheel is more hot as compared to left one.i am afraid that problem may reoccur if I go on a long route let's say 50 kilometers.Mechanic changed caliper of right wheel with kabli but again I wasn't satisfied then he changed brake master cylinder with kabli(old was of power 180v & kabli is of 155v).i felt brake wasn't good like before but I am used to it now.

My mistake or unawareness! I left all parts with mechanics.both front wheels hubs at Toyota, right wheel caliper at local workshop, brake master cylinder at local workshop

you're doing hit and trial, replacing parts again and again and cannot diagnose the issue. ask him to sort it out, replacing parts ain't sensible.

One concern is that the small mechanics (shagirds of ustaads) love to fix everything with power of hitting hammer hard.Even at Toyota a shagird hit hard while attaching lower arm to wheel hub,i don't remember what exactly happened then but they got that thing repaired by kharadya & fitted again so genuine fitting was lost just bcoz of carelessness of shagird of ustaad.

i still remember toyota islamabad asking my friend for 150k for his corolla 2006 suspension, and it all got fixed in 25k in toyota parts from a local mech.

It was my mistake & 1st experience taking old car to Toyota ,i went there with a thought that all guys there will be professionals, highly skilled but turned out they are very expensive,even they didn't put new parts.Kabli rusted hubs in 10000.

I would request you to visit that fellow, dictate your said issues to him, let him diagnose, then post his diagnosis here for further verification before initiating work

they've looted you but firstly its your innocence that you took 16yrs old car to toyota. you should take your car to a sensible mechanic ask him to drive your car and then replace which thing needs replacement not blindly each and everything. its gonna cost you time and bucks bro so spend sensibly

Toyota is a company and you can hold it responsible, go to them and tell them that the parts which they fitted have the following issues, they shouldn't have any issues with replacement

Sir brake booster in my car was of 180v & now kabli is of 145 or 155v, I asked mechanic even he didn't know difference.Please tell what these numbers mean.
