Forgot to mention one more thing.
on eid night, reversed my car out of garrage, and when tried to move fwd, the gear lever refused to go into first gear... i was surprised..tried hard,..but all in vain...called someone, he told me that clutch plate and pressure plate might hv been gone...
then upon trying, 2nd gear got engaged, so moved back into garage..
next morning, checked gear lever, the car was going into 2nd gear, and from 2nd to 1st gear, but not from neutral to 1st gear. And 2nd gear was quite hard to engage.
Then after eid vacations, went to toyota walton...and all that was hardened clutch cable...they lifted the car, and removed a rubber cover from the point where clutch cable is going into transmission, sprayed WD40 on it, put some grease... and the gear became very smooth, just like before.
then they told me that this happens if you move your car through still water or car is kept parked for longer time....
so this was just for your info, if similar happens wid someone, just keep in mind....
