When I got my car AC serviced 2 years back, I was told same by punjab car AC person "aap iss k heater pipe block krwa lein, coolin better ho jaye gi", but I didnt do it, my AC already works fine, also in lahore we often need heater in winter. Since you are in karachi, so cutting off heater will not effect you negatively, but it will improve cooling.
No idea about impact of cutting off the fresh air, but I think the fresh air doesnt makes your evaporator dusty unless you turn your duct to "outside" air mode from "cabin air" mode.

That's what I told the mechanic ke I dont normally use fresh air so, evaporator won't get dusty. But he insisted ke bahar se hawa ati rehti hai.
And as far as the heater is concerned, I will get it connected again since I don't want him wasting coolant by connecting/removing the heater pipe every time I need it and draining a liter or more of the coolant.

Solution to 6~7 year old problem in 15 mins.

The driver side AC duct of my car didnt throw blower air well, and there was very low speed air coming out of it even at full blower speed. This was v old problem, and came after some time we bought the car.
So on this Saturday I thought why not check the reason (I though the duct behind dashboard might have misaligned with the louver on front). So I opened the meter panel and made it out of its place. upon a short inspection, I suddenly noticed that the pipe of the right duct was disconnected from the main pipe (location of this joint was in about width wise mid of dashboard). So just lifted the misaligned pipe, pressed it againt main pipe and wrapped a small tape to avoid dismantling again. Upon turning on the blower the air came of in same speed as it comes out from other ducts.....
and all this procedure took 15~20 mins. :)

So I went for the AC service yesterday. The guy removed the evaporator and washed it thoroughly. There was so much dust that it was almost choked. Gas was also low so it was refilled.

Anyways, after putting everything back in, he did 2 things which I don't think were necessary. He cut off the fresh air saying that this way, the evaporator stays clean. Moreover, he disconnected the heater for 'better cooling'.
Now, I need to ask u people that should I go get these changes reverted back to original states? But the thing is, cooling has definitely increased.

So dear, what do you suggest? can we wash evaporator using thin pipe in the evaporator box at home??
Im not talking about disconnecting it.

what i found was a little hole in one pipe. pipes are low quality and fitting is bit loose. it is a local manufactured part and is of low quality obviously.

has anyone notice that the sticker on driving side recommends 26 PSI for factory tyre size i.e 145/70/R12

does anyone have any experience using factory size what psi air should be kept 30/28 or 26 or keeping 28 or 30 would damage the tyre?

yes recommended is 26 but tire walas fill 28/30. if you change tire size, pressure should be same. but can go for 28 in bigger tyres. for good roads 28 can do but for normal roads, 26 is best. difference in 26 to 28 is very small.

what about long routes? fill them up 28?

for motorway 28 is ok. 30 is also fine. for normal use 26 is best.

26 will make the ride soft, but slight drop in mileage. Since cuore has got stiffer suspension, so manufacturer suggests to keep lower tyre pressure.
on long route you can keep 28/30. or even 30/30. this will increase your mileage. but car will bump even on small bumps. due to harder tires.

cylinder size? on long or in city? for factory fitted CNG and in city it is fine.

Since less pressure will make more tire area to drag on road, so lesser mileage, stiff tires means less contact with road, hence less drag and slight more mileage.

Yes it can be washed using the pipe but if the evaporator is very dirty that is, close to choking, then it would have to be taken out. Same was the case with my car. It was clogged so much that pressured water even from the pipe had trouble flowing through the jaali. Therefore, mech took it out and when he cleaned it, mud came out.

Of course! But to avoid this, tue evaporator must be kept clean. This can be done by timely cleaning with the steel pipe method mentioned before.
The mech said that don't let dust or sludge accumulate and u are good to go.

I have cuore 08 and 80 k on odo. I am having this problem that when the car is going above 40 or 50 speed and I take my foot off the accelerator there is a certain tak-tak-tak sound coming from the front of the car. Same thing happens when I apply the brakes. The car stops normally but there is this sound. Second thing which might or might not be related to this is that on little rough road the car tend to slip if the speed is around 80. I thought that it might be due to alignment issues. I went to Toyota sahara motors on jail Road. The alignment guy said the suspension is damaged.
Now I want some suggestions regarding this. Should I get the car checked from somewhere else as well. And does anybody has any idea which is good place to get the suspension work done..

I had this same problem with Suzuki alto that I accidentally drove my car through a bump (khadda) a nasty one and after that the same symptoms occured.the part will be replaced and depending on which side makes the noise.it will cost around 3500rs.Max if one side is damaged.

I was driving in dha phase 5 and I saw a vitz being hit from behind by cuore and yeah the fault was of cuore driver.well what I saw was that the cuore bonut came till half like the radiator smashed and headlights broken well he was in for a lot of repairs.Vitz on the other hand got just a scratch so is cuore that weak.?
