Proper Wiring..... worst nightmare........ You would find just about NO excels to fit properly as far as i know. You then are aleft with wending the axels........... seriously dont do it

dont have an engine lying in front of me so cant really explain.. you are better off talking to people with already done swaps on their cars.. compare a stock car to a swapped car side by side.. reality can tell you a lot then just reading posts

I wont say much as ur just 17 and thinking of doing something which is really not everyone's piece of cake. Thre r a number of threads on PWs which might help u build something of ur taste, try searching. Try contacting members who hav already done swaps. BOL btw just a small query y do u want to do it?

I do get that age issue a lot but I can assure you that I am not too bad at put stuff on a car but as regards to knowledge about engines and shops in Pakistan, I am not too sure. See, I have helped a few friends with their charades, a corolla and my uncle's civic 09. Mostly I never went out o buy lights, spoilers,engines, etc but only helped them mount the stuff up. I am considering getting spoilers, bumpers, etc from abroad but need engine.
I want to do it coz I just don't get the new factory line cars. I studied in uae for 2-3 years and took basic electronic wiring and testing programs offered by my school so I can work on the car. Also got friends to help me.
If u can pls help me with getting the engines and other details pls.

Ahhhh........another one of my numerous petty questions. What's an ECU? I know to some extent but not fully. And can I include an engine with an ecu in a car? How and what's the benefit?

engine/electronic control unit...

it senses the airflow amount, the accelerator position, and the exhaust oxygen content and then calculates the precise amount of fuel needed at each injector, and fires the injectors accordingly... thats something very basic...

you know as a student google should be your best friend and soul mate

i will repeat again.. you must see a swapped car with your own eyes. check the mounting points of each engine. then check the mounting points of a stock car.. check the length and dia of the axles.. just to figure out what you can fit in it...

to some extent a preludes parts will fit in a civic..

all the engines you mentioned have their own ecus..

Anyways I knew the basics of an ecu( Googled it way before) I wanted to know if u can interchange ecus?
Now the last most important question. Where to get B20Z and B18?

mostly ecus are not interchangeable... or they work but not properly...

many engines are for sale on pakwheels.. depends which city you are in...
