WHATS THE RITE WAY TO DRIVE?

NORMAL SPEED=?

HIGH SPEED=?

VERY HIGH SPEED=?

GOING HIGH=?

I need expert replies to use when and why shift accordingly??

for normal roads D4 is the best gear. when you are goin up the hill or steep mountain D1 and D2 and when going down the hill if you use brakes it can cause some damages to you and your car and to prevent that you have to drive D2 and D3 and rarely D1.

ummm i dont think auto has "1" gear. because if auto had "1" gear , then it would be equally fast or even faster then a manual car.
therefore , auto has only 4 gears which is "2" , "3" , "4" , "5".
d2 mean it will not shift further then 2 gears (3rd gear)
just drive "d" all the time. its safe for u and for the gears.

Mr enerlevel nothing in this world starts from 2 and auto does not have any 5th gear for your kind info.
in honda from 1.8 VTEC they started D1 as compared TOYOTA it has L (lower gear / 1st gear).

Ur rite that auto has 1st gear but auto has 5th gear too, for your kind information. Honda trasmissions have 5 gear. Visit the website for ur correction

humm but if auto has 1st gear then y is it a slow starter as compared to manual?

u cannot over excelerate any gears in auto but in manual u can....all depends on clutch....autos are not meant for racing and related stunts or whateva..

Munal gears controlled by us, driver know how and when shift d gear, he may misuse, touching 100 on 2nd gear but in auto d only concern wd accelter. thats my point that when how and where change it.
