I have a question, the plug that fits behind the alpine unit, is that for the alpine CD changer specifically or is that the corolla specific adapater ?
when everyone changes their head units, do the installers simply cut the wires and installer a different cd-changer or do they have something like this adapter that i'm attaching the picture of ?

@benz300...Its Specific For Pre Installed.....Most Peoples Just Cut Them And Make New Connections.....Some Just Left Them And Make New Connections In Same Wiring And Left Connectors Intact......Some Intelligent People Cut Them And Plug In PRE And At Time Of Selling Them....Buyer Gets Grip Along With Pre.....!!
