use Adhesive Spray instead of Samad Bond... will ensure even better sound deadening through even surface contact. had delayed my own sound damping project since I couldnt find it. just found a distributor in Karachi.

Honestly car companies can afford such cheap foams.They didn't bother doing such stuff because it really wont make a difference.Companies don't bother to install stuff like Dynamat because it's to costly.The best thing you can do is maintain your car properly and it won't rattle.

as far as this car is concerned, its a 1992 model. and i thnk 20 saal me chahe car ko jitna bhi acha rakha jae noise produce ho hi jaati hai. and abt the new cars, i would say that what the honda nd corolla companies are doing so far???they sell the cars for 18-22 lacks but still no proper sound dampening material.I was amazed wen my reborn was producing noise on the motorway and after using that material it got queit.so...i guess the companies here always try to take more n more money and providing poor and poor quality

you're not wrong at all. but this material (jumbolon/underlay) is a low-grade material for sound damping. however, it still works pretty well and doesnt add the 80 lbs or so of weight that dynamat does.

oh and the new corolla does have a small (6"x6") piece of similar material glued inside the front doors for sound damping purpose.

anything can happen in pakistani (made/assembled) products. the only problem in my civic 99 is road noise coming in through the firewall. otherwise its pretty decent. planning to do a damping process myself but waiting for this semester to end.

that tinny sound is because there is supposed to be a sprayed foam between the door skin and its inner brace and finally a small piece of deadener pasted to the door skin too. As customers in Pakistan would buy a bag of fresh human feces if it had a toyota or honda badge - manufacturers will remove as much of material as possible to raise profits.

sprayed foam? polyurethane? wouldnt that primarily be for climate insulation. does it also serve for sound insulation?

Dont always blame a nation i.e. "PAKISTANIS". Not everyone appreciate quantity only,brand only or sumthng else like that. I thnk some of the people are still there who appreciate a gud quality even if its price is more than a normal stuff. Also your statement abt the companies and there ways to raise profit is 100% right. No harsh feelings

What do you mean by double insulating the doors from "inside" and "outside"???? As far as I understand, only one layer of foam can be attached between the door and the panel, right?
