Well it wouldn't run "normally" but I refuse to believe that the engine wouldn't run at all. I think you'd have to look at your fuel consumption to see if the engine was doing alright or not. Though in this case, you'd definitely be getting some misfires or something indicating a problem.

Okay I may not know much about Honda engines, but i DO know that if the right ECU isn't installed, then the engine would refuse to even turn on. So if your car is running and is giving you good fuel consumption figures, then the right ECU is definitely installed.
Regarding finding out where the ECU is, it's normally supposed to be in the middle console below the heater and A/C controls... No idea about the Pakistani variants, though there shouldn't be any difference as per my knowledge. Hondas, and for that matter most Japanese cars, are pretty easy to take apart- all you need is a flat-head screw driver to take off some panels and you can get to the ECU.
