no, I was not able to go any where as I had to stay focused on some bussiness emergencies, this guy is my daily runner mechnic, he took the responsbily, his workshop is only for small japanese cars tuning and stuff... like Kie Cars and these one litter cars... I get my daihatsu maitained from him..

I mentioned once to him that there is a diff lying inside the nissan and I never found time to get it fitted becuase the garages which specialize in this stuff require days of attention and I have to navigate the city to go there and get the job done..

he said its a piece of cake I know diffs .. I know 'clutch wali handi' those come in handy when one wheel loses traction.. and I was like .. dude u know that thing.. and that gained my confidence and I handed him the rig...

he was able to get it done.. even though there were many hurdles as I explained above..

the Oil I came to know by @asad bhai that he purchased from Future guys for 1650 per liter I got them for 1850 per liter.

from which workshop you are having these mechanical jobs done?is it same from where you fixed the snorkel ? i guess it was Mr. Mohsin of Mean Machine Gerage.

Mind sharing the prices you bought the fluids from Mitasu ?

Glad you got the diff sorted out. Do check the torque limits for the new diff. Maybe you can have issues in 4low when torque is very high. I am not even sure if lsds have torque ratings but i think they do.

okay I have been hearing these similar precautions for quite a few people... I assume LSD are delicate then normal Differential.
I think few days back @assad saeed saab were mentioning to avoid side skips... as they are very bad for LSD type diffs.

That bothers me frankly.... i will look into torque figures

Took out the rig for an family outing and first time felt what a power house is once we reached mountain area.. secondly we literlly took the whole home with our self to handle cold weather and stuff needed for kids..

the places where my one liter daily runner would struggle and come down to its knees the rig cruised climbed it in middle gears.. did not bothers to go 4X4 ... visited shogran kaghan valley.

one thing I did noticed is that since LSD now makes both wheels push toghether under load it is prone to wheel spins and side drifts under powered sheer turn the rig will tail and drift.. this wasnt the cse with normal differential.

the tunnels on the way are beautiful

Rig turned out to be super stable on highway sppeds which i wasnt expecting ..

on top of Balakot <> mansehra bypass.. I liked this place..

refueling... average per liter was 9~ km/L oevr all

best was to cook food have a picnic where you want which we never were able to do until this time..

spent some time in Isalamabad for kids to enjoy few monuments..

Sir have you tried montgomery road? There are shops over there of 4x4 accessories, they might have them.

I had a very strange experience on montegomery road, I had alist of items in hand and I went shopping nivara.. the "Nissan logo" was 2500 Rupees at monogram shop I showed him it was listed 450 rupees on Daraz /Ali Express and he just turned over to other customers telling me I should get it from there.. I wanted glove box vcover, sunshade, Front rear lights but no body new what is navara beside the only Nissan dealer and he did not had these...

then I went to 4x4 mega shops with fancy body parts and they only had these things for Hilux, Prado, LC ... they new navara/frontier but they did not had any thing ... I started inquiring where I should be looking for and they would say "agay say pata ker lain" (soft version of go away)

I have so far found the Pakwheeler and 4X4 comunity to be more suportive... and some what I understood the reason when I went there...

Right now I have to get this thing installed in the Rear Trunk I do not know what it is called... secondly I need to place the foot rest my Mum who is now an old beautiful lady find it had to get on board.

and I need roof rack.

that is even better this doesnt seems to me be a rocket science if some one has good hands in fabrication can definitly do it in an excellent way..

Most of people modifying jeeps design pipes themselves. The pipe sellers can do it easily no big issue. I have myself done it for my jeep in process in Pindi. Mine is very simple though

I agree and let me guess you were nicely dressed?
If you go there asking about 4x4 and clothed nicely price will increase double or triple sometimes.
And yes designing yourself is easy.
You can 12 gauge 1.75" tube erw (welded).
You can get that from brantherd road. If you ask denter he will use 16 gauge and say " oo ya bara mazzboot hai"

ha hah a h I actually orderes a full wie rear view mirror becuase the orignal is too skinny and only covers the imediate back view with atleast 3ft blind spots on both sides... which was too risky.. so I installed this "FULL HD" rear view
