Yes some of those items have already been replaced. The last replacement was the fan belt. I've been told the crank is making sounds but if oil isn't being reduced (which it isn't) then I can continue driving.

I got some CNG tuning done too. Previously the CNG tank hardly made around 90Km, but after tuning it is performing better. Our latest tank recently did around 145Km in mixed city and highway driving. Haven't accurately measured petrol yet (filling full tank is a bit expensive :)). But the mechanic also showed me the spark plugs and they were black. He said this indicates high petrol consumption.

Any idea if I can have Enercon check engine tuning for second opinion? I'd like to have at least 12Km/Liter in City driving and 14Km/Liter highway.

well my car's main seal got leaked twice within 6 months and the mechanic told me that crank is having ply thats y it makes the seal leak after some tym, I have just repaired the crank from "moon mechanic" it costed me around 7k

and I have never driven my car on petrol unless its a matter of life n death

for efficient fuel consumption get the timing belt and timing pulley checked as well, and one thing more as the ur car crank is a bit faulty car is loosing power from there as well causing more fuel consumption, xperts will throw better light over enercon check engine tuning!!!

@ SalarsCar and sheikh_wah: Thanks for the advise. I think I will go for generator replacement. I have one question from SalarsCar though. How many AmHrs your battery is. My concern is with the amperes rating for Nissan generator. Usually Nissan has a 50-60 AmpHrs battery installed... where as I have one that of 70.

yaar omar get ur battery checked as well from any battery shop, mostly its the battery thats the culprit, i had to change battery and generator both

New battery was of exide 85amp :4200
suzuki' carry generator : 1800

I paid dis price after giving my old battery and generator, u can get kabli generator from sultan ka kho, there is a market specially for generators, u ll find one easily!!!

Yaar, I spent Rs 9000/- on a new AcDelco dry battery 6 months ago. I am sure it is alright. I will go for either Daewoo or Nissan Kabli Generator. Suzuki generator per dil naheen manta.

yar i went to murtaza and he tuned it up as he says...car still missing on petrol..i changed the computer which costed me about 5k...with orignial but still its missing..now i dnt know whether to return to him or not...

MAP sensor check karwao inshallah if faulty changing can resolve your problem.

okies but it only misses on petrol and is perfectly fine on cng...does it means there is still problem with the map sensor...wounldnt it effect both petrol or cng if it was out of order.

In my opinion, 70 AH battery shouldn't create a prob, for the reason that this value i.e 70 AH means "capability of providing 70 Amps for one hour without charging. So weather its 60 AH or 70 AH, the real difference it should create is in full charging and full discharging time only. The load (current drawing) that heavy battery may impose on the generator is off-course a consideration but not if the difference in generator's capacity and battery's rating is less. I ve 70 AH battery and 65 Amps Nissan's generator and its working fine till now. I shall study on the subject, this weekend InshAllah.

yaar aap ne computer change kar ke dekh liya hay, phir bhi masla hal nahin howa na, to MAP sensor bhi change kar ke dekh lo, jis se computer liya hay usi se poch lo ke MAP sensor kitne ka mile ga,

MAP sensor only works on petrol.

First of all, is there any black smoke from the exhaust while on petrol? CO Potentiometer is installed or not? Do you observe the Check Engine Light during operation on petrol? Is there any kind of missing on CNG too?

Thanks bro. Tahir had checked the timing belt before and said it was okay. Went to Enercon and they adjusted some CO level to reduce it to a range of two point something. They said the consumption would be better now. I'll get the crank issue checked this weekend from Federal Motors as they had originally mentioned it. I just hope it's not a very high expense, 7K sounds reasonable.

Also I asked the Enercon specialist about a scenario that happens occasionally that the engine without pushing accelerator revs higher for like a minute or so even with gear engaged (i.e. not idle) and then suddenly comes back to normal. The specialist said this is due to some sensor reading. I'm thinking of asking Federal guys to clean all sensors this time, maybe dust is blocking some sensor from taking appropriate reading?
