Yesterday...the CAM of my car again got broken....inspite of the fact that it was just replaced few months back.....car was running so smooth and i was so happy...the engine heated up and this happened....the needle didnt even cross the white area....
so i had to replace yet again the CAM and now the temperature needle goes quickly up to the end of white area while i ride the car in 5 mins....and car is very shaky when this happens....what could be the possible cause?

Brother it feels very sad that your woo engine cam shaft broken again.

to me main possible cause could be uneven load inside engine .
engine head may be not properly tightened in sequence.

Had you work done last time on piston rings n valves also ?
any machining work done on head or not ?

the replacement cam was kabli or geniune one ?

your heat guage might not responded to actual engine temp.

anyhow be patient with your situation n Allah apni Hifazat mein aap ko salamat rakhey . AAMEEN

two years celebration with my woo

i,ve removed bumpers n painted now black n all lights now are new n it looks very good

last week i had to replace the head gaskit of my car as it was worn out slowly within 3 to 4 days.

I am feeling that water level decreases in 3 days approx while the fan is automatic and environment temp is also at normal level, nor more winter now...
Head gauge is behaving normaly. what could be the reason?
it has genuine single nali radiator. does radiator needs service???

the engine was completely overhauled in october but just after a month i had to replace the head coz car had started missing after my trip from isb...then the cam was broken and again the head was replaced but even then the missing continued so now the head valves were replaced back in january and car was running good but i could feel that engine was heavy...but the mechanic said it was alright and i as already mentioned took a long trip of isb as well and now again the cam is broken and the mechanic who replaced the cam with genuine one as he says tells me that the head needs to be replaced as well again.......the cam replaced last time was kabli one.....now i m in my home town....and i dnt think the gauge is faulty coz at nite time the temperature doesnt spikes only at noon when enviromental temp increases that the needle goes up.....
im thinking to take my car again to isb coz now i dnt trust any mechanic in lahore.....i m getting married soon and i cant ve a car with so many problems inside it as i will be going on long routes a lot so it has to be in perfect condition...and im thinking to take the car to central automobile once n for all....

Dear if i was in your place i made this descion first time when u faced this culprit engine big problem any how now u make great descion to take ur woo to central autos isb. I believe after visit of isl your woo ,ll have new life n INSHA ALLAH you,ll not be let down in your new life after marriage. As i,m experiencing my life with my golden ring (my woo nik name). Though i,m lucky to have stock engine OHC with 153000km with no problem with out overhaul.

At last i appreciate your love with daewoo racer.

Ans 1- As i clearly mentioned in my post i am selling it due to an urgent need other wise i am very sad after taking this decision as i spent a lot of money and time to maintain my woo.

Ans 2 - Engine was overhauled because it was producing smoke and mixing oil so Mr. Tahir G-8 Markaz decided to overhauled the engine.

Ans 3- Last lot of woo was released in 2003 to army officers and you can verify the documents too.

yes i should ve taken it to isb but as u know im residing in lahore so it becomes dificult to take such a long journey every time....and also central autos had not reopened untill recently...im back from my long trip from lahore to bwp and back and thx to ALLAH my car ran fine but even at the speed of 100km/h the heat gauge was at half mark..i think there is some problem with head....i will inshallah make another trip to isb soon....

i dont know why my car is heating up....the heat gauge doesnt go beyond the white area and remain at its highest mark but even at that temp which all mechanics say is normal the car vibrates violently...the bonet is like vibrating as if the engine will throw it self out....where as when i start the car when its cold it doesnt vibrate that much......
another thing which happened to my car was when the cam shat was replaced the mechanic grinded the TAPA to losen it so that cam can run freely in it...but even since then the car doesnt start on cng and also at idle its missing but runs fine on acceleration...the other mechanic says that it shouldnt ve been grinded and he even replaced the CAM TAPA with another cars just to prove the point.....now he says to change the TAPA but my point is even if i change the TAPA what could ve been the reason for CAM to break and also why the car is heating up....?

1. Where you get the parts ( i.e. Power window doors or only inner, power steering etc..)

Hope u all will be good, the problem my car is having these days is that it shakes from the rear, it feels as if the alignment is out, went to an alignment centre and they say that car shakes when u give accelerator, otherwise car remains stable, according to them the rear tube is faulty and needs to be replaced,my question is "is replacement the solution??can't we repair it??"
and if its possible from where??

hey guys....im coming to isb to get my ride fixed....completely...and im thinking to go to central autos for that..so my question is for isb guys....if they think central autos is the best option or else....no one in lahore is able to completely fix the problem and they r just costing me more money every day and as u know i already ve spent 14000 rs..changed the cam tapa and cam shaft twice but still the car is missing a bit on petrol and also when it gets heated up it misses more.....
