I am also in learning phase and just bought my first ever car just an year ago. Unlike most people starting from mehran my first car is woo . And i really proud of it but muchanics !!!curse them... I also do all of my experiments on weekends . I have not modified my woo but it was already much improved by someone who really loved this woo. Mine has sports bumpers. 5 gear . Power window and power steering. Alloyrims, cng+petrol etc .

@phoenixviva pls do share any schematics or pics of your work regarding dashboard work and central door locking . Mine has central door locking installed but not operational . I am also making my mind to do some work in dash but nowadays expermienting with car engine cooling system . Will share results once done.

5 forward gear box can be done on the stock engine I think cost is 12k to 15k something around I have plan to change it too later on at some point. Our Daewoo is the base version 5 gears come in the high end version celio originally (I think not sure thou) of same year that was not imported to Pakistan originally but engines now available come with 5 gears box.

94 I think not sure Army quota 2002 registered, all daewoo are 93,94 in Pakistan came originally all were yellow color by default and have two dashboard styles minor changing because they came in two lots to Pakistan.

Previous 2 owners were the Majors so the neatness. not very neat right now it is seeping oil some minor seepages that is making it look not so much clean these days (All masti of the mechanics due to there makeshift type behavior)

Central locking diagram is really very simple just laying out the wires to each door and one central controlling circuit, will draw you the schematics in night also will take pictures of motors installed (I forget to take phone down usually when I go to mess up my daewoo living in flat and biggest hurdle in working on it is it is 3 stories down always).

Meanwhile just check the motor by giving them directly 12 v to there wires green and blue usually one side they should operate outside and reversing the polarity they will operate inside if they are ok then trace the wires they may have a break at some point or 12 V main power is disconnected. if motors and wires are all ok and main wire have 12 V then possible anything faulty in the controlling circuit.

whats the difference between ohc and ohc injection engines. i mean most of the pakistani daewoos have head written ohc
but i was looking at some pics of irani daewoos their engines were different they didnt have that airfilter above engine also they had daewoo logo on their head is anybody aware of these engines?
and is the stock engine of cielo(which came in pakistan) different from racer(also paki)

OHC means overhead camshaft also means single overhead camshaft => single camshaft is used to operated the valve for intake and exhaust

DOHC means dual overhead camshaft => two camshafts are used to operate the valves one for intake valves and second for exhaust (technically more fuel efficient version more power but complicated also)

Engine block is same they fit on in term of our daewoo

sorry no idea what you seen in picture of irani daewoo without seeing them (I am not that much of expert and knowledgeable yet)

possibility it may be multiple fuel injection models heads. Cileo engine in pakistan are I think multiple fuel injection and racer is TBI. throttle body injection that is single fuel injector (recently known about it few post back) btw both are bolt on fixing of heads on the racer engine block without any alteration, as far as only fitting the engine concern working require few changes however wirring, ecm sensors etc

Welcome anytime in the evening, I just read the post carefully now lol same area. Not have the idea about the other Daewoo in the area which one you are talking about I have at least I think 3 Daewoo's in my immediate vicinity, 1 in 600 m away right in front of P.O.F Hospital

Planning to change all front and rear bushes of my ceilo, anyone who can advice about the best bushes...how many are fitted in front and in rear? Any good mechanic around G 10? Always obliged for kind support if experts, pls.

Have you tried to adjust rpm for petrol. And then for cng? If yes then check co sensor and its wires discinnected or shorted or it could b faulty. Start fom co->map-> distributor.
