I am located in Lahore but want to buy it from Islamabad/RWP.

i got my a/c fixed a few days back. replaced my condensor n compressor wid kabli ones.

now the compressor has again jammed.

though it ll b fixed by the mechanic who replaced it but i wanna hve an expert opinion from u ppl...

i have a sanden 505 compressor which was used wid my other car for some tym.

does it works well wid daewoo or can sanden 505 work lyk daewoos original comp.

which one iz better.???

senden 505 is not enough for this car its for mehran

u need senden 507 or 508 it is better than others

Hi all Daewoo fan's, I went to Rev It Up Drag show and had a drag with a civic. Attaching the videos.

The specs are:

Daewoo 1.5 DOHC with intake and irridium plugs

Vs

Honda Civic (1995) D15b (Stage 3 Vtec) with headers, free flow piping, intake, performance plug wires

Hay ppl. recently joined the Daewoo fan club as i bought a daewoo racer 93 model, for 290K, last monday.....

my dainter and my car dealer frndz say that the car iz perfect in tems of engine, tyrez and body... it was in white colour but im getting it painted in Charcoal Gray(TOYOTA COLOUR) fom exterior only and then going to have the interior rebuild all by maslf and ma dad

Now the thing that i want you ppl to help me in is....

What plugs should i put in it to hav maximum pick.. (BRAND AND PRICE)

Any mechanic who an perfectly tune it on CNG as it seriously has no pick on gas when AC is on.....

Any idea , from where and for how much i can get the crystal tail lights for daewoo racer...... the back garnish and the front indicators.....................

1. Hope you got your first answer regarding plugs.

2. Regarding CNG, better contact CNG installers/tuners.

With A/C on, you will experience less pickup since A/C steals around 10% of your engine power. If you have 87HP & 127Nm torque engine, subtract around 10% of power for CNG and also subtract around 10% for A/C, you will get net power around 70HP & 100Nm torque...

1. Please contact Korea Autos (mentioned on page 3 of DFC) for availability of your required items. I won't recomend Kabli as usually they are not in a good condition.

guys im back !!!! i bought a daewoo racer GTi 99 model the front view is a cielo and the back part is a modified lights for racer i dont know if is been converted from daewoo racer gti to cielo looks and the interior is mixed up racer dashboard and floor.. the side panel and the light switch and power window buttons is for cielo... and the engine is 1.5 EFi SOHC G15SF ..

and i have a problem on it :

1.no speedometer cable - dont know if the racer cable would fit....

2.idling problem - tunning it to 700RPM the car is acting like im stepping the gas peddal (but im not) and REV it to almost 1700RPM-2000RPM... i already clean the IAC....still tunning it to 700rpm still have problems..

3.A/C - after tunning it to 800RPM (stable for idling the car)..when turn on my A/C the car drops its idling and make it stall or stop the enigne......

4.found out there is a leaking problem in my power steering

5.Alternator problem - making a sound like a loose metal

6.power window motors - windows are to slow going up but fast when going down..

7.black smoke and a smell of not well burn oil - already use a 1 can of super oil treament called WHIZ to stop the black smoke but i think i need to use 1 more can to treat the oil...

8.some led up lights dont come on before i start the engine the check engine ligth, seat belt warning light,ABS if i have one or been disable dont know where to find the wire connecting to it..

9.two connectors had not been use and i dont know where to put it...i will add the picture of the connector later...

(y) Congrats! So you again opted for a Daewoo :). Regarding your queries:

1. Please upload it's speedo back side image if you can. If the speedo is of Racer/GTi, you can put Racer cable, otherwise if it is Cielo's you have following options:

a. If Cielo parts are available, get the Cable. FYI, the gear-box side is the same, but the meter end is different.

b. If Cielo parts are not available, you have to take a risk on the speedometer. Just carefully trim the plastic seat for the cable so that the Racer's cable can be perfectly fit.

1. There might be problem with Throttle Position Sensor.

2. Do check whether the Radiator Fan get starts with A/C or not. If the fan doesnot start, it means the ECM is not getting the signal that A/C is on. Get the wiring checked for that.

3. Take it to a mechanic and get the steering assembly/pump seals checked.

4. Physically observe the generator while engine start. It might be the fan fins attached to pully touching the generator body.

5. Window channels need to be cleaned/carefully washed as they get clogged with dust particles after certain time.

6. Black smoke is related to a problematic sensor. I think point 2. is the reason.

7. Upload pics of that light. It is usually seat belt light that behave the same. If that's the case, check the wiring that arose from seat belt lock, under the driving seat, for any short circuit/grounded connection.

Unfortunately, you wont find an excellent condition Daewoo for sale. You can ask @92-51-4433107 (Mr. Athar) in Islamabad to arrange one for you.

1. a RWP number racer with weak engine of RS approx 190K. if i go for it, should i get its engine overhaul from Faqeer Muhammad or change it with a kabli engine? is its price OK.

2. a Karachi number racer in very good condition. what should be its average market value. is karachi no car easly saleable?

1. Overhaul is definitely good option if the mechanic and tool shop guy is expert. So Faqeer Muhammad's option is good.

2. Karachi number is saleable in Islamabad/Rawalpindi provided the car token can be paid locally, otherwise it is a hassle.

For a better opinion, contact the above stated guy(Mr. Athar) for a price check of Daewoo and/or arranging one for you.
