Hi to all, I purchased my Daewoo in Ramzan 2007 and now I have completed 2 years with my Daewoo. First of all I will say thanks to All Daewoo Experts at this forum and special thanks to TESTDRIVER (Founder of Daewoo Fan Club)Who really helps to all Daewoo owners sincerely and without their own interest. He has lot of experience and information about Daewoo Racer, GTI and Ceilo.
So I am gaining lot of experience and information regarding Daewoo on this forum. During this successful journey its proved a Good Family Car with powerful Engine, Extra Ordinary AC, Comfortable ride for long routes and best Fuel Consumption.
So we can say ‘It’s a reliable Car for Family’.
I used to go on long drives to Rwp/isb
to Chakwal, Sialkot, Kalar Kahar, Murree, Pir Sohawa , Peshawar etc etc.
On Motorway defeated 2.OD, Vitz,Margalla, Civic and Xli’s. Touching 160 Km/h Plus speed easily on CNG. Never face any problem on long drives only once when going from Rwp to Chakwal and near Mandra Toll Plaza Gaskit get burnt. That was not my Ride’s fault that was my own fault. My ride’s Rediator needs cleaning and some service from a month, coz it reduces water while starting AC, it was OK without AC.
My Racer daily requesting me to go for Daewoo’s Specialist Doctor for Checkup
but I didn’t take is seriously , So I used to fill water bottle on daily basis but never went to Daewoo Specialist to solve the problem. There was no major problem , just minor problem solved by Central Automobile. So unfortunately due to my negligence I faced that problem while going from Rwp to Chakwal
, that was after noon and sun was shining in hot summer ,AC on Full running,
Water has been finished and Gasket get burnt.
BUT DAEWOO NAY ITNI HIMMAT KI KAY MANDRA SAY WAPIS RWP POHONCH GAI WITH BURNT GASKIT. BUT JAGA JAGA PAR MUJHAY WATER DALNA PARA. So only this problem faced by me on long routes which was solved by Central Automobile
now.
Works done by me in this 2 Years.
1-Front Boots replaced( Costing 240/-)
2-Baljoint Woks/Steering Assembly Works( Costing 2000/-)
3- Real Left Wheel Bearing (Rs.450)
4-Nissan Braking System (Rs.1000-1500)
5-Gaskit installation, Rediator Service, (Rs.2000)
6- Minor Electrition works done.
So I will recommend people to use Daewoo Racer as Family Car Pricing Lower Budget.
