bro yahi ho sakta hai yaar coz daewoo racer has speciality to start half self on Cng even in winter , i never convereted on petrol even in coolest weather , i daily start my racer half self on cng , chahay sardi ho , barish ho, otherwise ziada tar cars ko sardion men raat ko petrol par convert karna parta hai woh cng par start nahi hoti

yes its clean and engine is in reall good condition. I never seen a water Tap in silencer. Interior need some attention but it will work for me. Bumpers need to be change i,ll do it as soon as i have some money to do so. one extra fan (condensor fan is required) currently there is only one but AC work very fine but for safer side another fan is must which i left pending for the next season. may be in a month or two it will be again for sale planning some thing else this time.

Test Driver

I was going through the pictures of your converted ceilo car. Can you tell me about the door panels. What is the price of new panels and from where i can get them any contact number? My door panels have deterioted and plastics on the panels have started breaking.

ASSALAM-O-ALAIKUM i have a daewoo racer 97. i m suffering from some problems and need every one to suggest specialy test driver. 1. front left shock absorber is not working and while braking from speed of 80km/h it give jerks very badly . Mr.Ather at central autos told me to change both front shocks and it will resolve the problem . what did u say? 2. while going at the speed of 50km/h or above it sounds very badly at gives vibrations when holding steering from top and gradual strong vibrations at pedals and the sound is like GHuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnn and after driving for 10 mins it gives me headache. i think it is some kind of piston problem or tapids. or may b because of alignment. what r ur opinions? 3. front right axile is to b replaced how much it cost. central autos is giving it for 3800 with lobour new one and from cha sultan 2000 without labour kabli one. and shocks at central autos costs 4200 with labour new and at cha sultan he changing kits for 1500 .dont know what kit may b da gaskits for air tightning inside da shocks. what should i go for? 4. and one wierd problem every month it needs gas adjustment for missing , sulf and consumption problems. how this can b permanently solved. waiting for ur replies.

1: u got ur answer, change the shock......

2: Jerks, absolutly allignment problem, get it checked... sound.... it cud b coz ov shock or something in "HISSA".... get it checked

3: don't compromise on mechanical parts, get them new.. as u may end up changing the kabli stuff after like 2 days or even 2 hours...... its not a big difference in prices so my suggestion? go for new ones....

4: stop changing gas stations, pick one gas station and get gas filled only from there. it will help. plus get your gas kit serviced ....

Dear All,

I have purchased a daewoo about 3 weeks back. The car is in good shape overall, however I am having issues with the fuel consumption both on CNG and Petrol.

On CNG my cylinder gets full for about Rs. 450/- and the car covers maximum 105 kms in one cylinder. Is this normal or on the higher side? What can be done to improve this?

On petrol I got my tank full the other day and the car consumed the first quarter of the tank in 75 kms. This is quite a lot, I think. How and what should be done to improve this?

Dear my car tank on on CNG gets full on 450 Rs and on long it gave me 210 KM and within city it should be 150-160KM. your car needs to be tunned. so go to yr workshop for adjustment.

Sorry bro for the late reply.

1. What kind of jerk? Is the shock hard to press? If yes, replace the front shocks. Remember, always replace the suspension parts of both sides to have a stable ride.

2. If the sound is like Dhurrr with vibration, most likely it can be wheel balancing problem. If the sound is like Ghunnn, then most likely it is (a) Gear Lever bushing (b) Wheel Bearing sound (c) Gear noise due to some problem like clutch bearing or even the Gear internals.

3. I prefer to use new CV joints than Kabli. Around Rs.3800-4000/= is for a pair and offcourse labour has to pe paid extra. Similarly avoid Kabli suspension parts as much as possible. Original Daewoo Gas shocks are not repairable.

4. I think the CNG regulator has some problem with diaphragm. Better get it checked by proper CNG expert. I recommend you to contact the CNG workshop opposite Suzuki Azim Motors I-10. The person name is Suleman Shahji (0301-5511942).
