lol - umm - I have worked in prototype development of such stuff - I dont need an ustaad to sort it out for me. My degree also helps me understand such better.
cratered head - causes preignition, grinding it increases combustion chamber volume, welding it will warp the head, even when welding such you need a 4047 welding rod and good knowhow of what you are doing - a porous job is worse than the original fault you started with.
Do share with us your facility that uses 4047 rod with an argon shield to weld this up.
a simple question was asked to which I got a fairy tale telling me to go to some imaginary ustaad to ask how this worked - I already know how to repair such - its basic common knowledge (elementary) when working on such machinery. Problem is - its cost prohibitive to do that on this cylinder head.
