dont expect such hi mileage with the conditions n quality of fuel we get here in pakistan
[QUOTE=shehzadkhattak Daihatsu Mira 2007 automatic. whats the price of car and all other exp because i wanna bought it,,,,,
I am 100% agreed with you, b coz automatic transmission requires a soft acceleration and driver has to release accelator after moved up the speed of the car every time. Then these sort of cars give good fuel average, right now my Mira 2008 is giving me 16 to 18 KM per liter in Karachi city.I love this car.
Get your car checked its plugs . get a new air filter , get throttle body cleaned and last but not least check its catalytic converter checked if its choked get it clened using carb cleaner or remove it (normally catalytic convertor gets choked due to low quality fuel and ) if possible use 60 to 40 ratio of petrol and high octane . its should give u around 19-20 kmpl as i have a toyota belta 1.0 and it gives me around 18 kmpl so u should get even better
I've seen people complain about the mileage that their 660cc kie cars are giving them. What they fail to bring into account is the fact that these cars are already used in the vicinity of 100k+ km and need maintenance before they can give you good mileage. Changing the plugs alone would help improve the mileage. These cars also have their catalytic converters choked which greatly contributes to the low mileage. Getting it removed would help alot. And as mentioned above, driving habits are crucial to get good mileage. We've got a 2009 mira manual AWD and it gives around 18km/l and that too without the catalytic converter removed.
i do have hyundai santro and never take my car for tuning work as lots of people suppose to say that EFI didn't need a tunning. all it need to put a best quality Fuel System Cleaner (Sonax: made in germany) to keep your car tune, smooth and keep the entire fuel system clean.
its not very great mileage as i have also daihatsu move i will suggest all guys to go for imported cars although it giving me about 14 km/l but i think we should use fuel treatment solvents in the petrol tanks to condition fuel and to clean combustion chamber also timing is computerized control with solenoids we should check car timing during every tuning keep ur wheels cool
Mira Custom 2007, CVT AUTO, TURBO,
I got 15.8 km/l in my run two weeks ago, driven mostly in heavy traffic with AC mostly on but slow.
I get 14-16 km/l in Santro. With a light foot driving and remaining between 80-100 km/hr range. I guess it is alot better then these 660 cc cars in terms of Fuel average and power. Not in comfort, safety though.
11 12kms is normal my mira .
My friend have a daihatsu mira 2009 model automatic. His mira give him the average of 17 km/l in city and 20 km/l on long route without a/c on.and his average speed is approximately 70 t0 80 km/h.
im getting 11 - 12 from my 1400kg nissan sunny
u must be getting at least 16+ from light car.....
I owned 65k km (not reversed meter) 2006 Mitsubishi EK with manual transmission. I drove it between isb and rwp and it gave me always above 18 km per litre and on two tanks fulls it gave me 24.5 and 25.2 km per litre.
those who have bad mileage have maybe meter reversed. Cat convertors chocked. bad fuel injectors. spark plugs or engines at the end of their life.
^but then on the same route i have obtained the following fuel stats with the following two cars:1. Toyota platz, manual transmission (136k km driven and CNG installed) = 18.5 km per litreand with 55 kg CNG cylinder = 250 km per cylinder.2. Suzuki Swift 1.3 = many times over 16.5 and on the average 16.06 km per litre
^ brother do u drive on light foot
did u use hyperlink techniques? (pur car in neutral etc) ??
^yes i do. with the platz and swift i do. but from EK i got the mileage as reported without hypermilling.
i own a mira 2007 automatic and it has been consistently giving me around 14km/l. Although not bad, i bought it with the idea of getting around 20km/l. Now i ve noticed that the initial acceleration once i put the car into the drive gear is high. On a straight road it reaches to almost 30km/hr without any acceleration? What i wanted to know was how to reduce this initial acceleration?
guys what is this all about? my mom wants to get a car which is fuel efficient and would mostly be driven in isb/rwp highway or main roads. some owners claiming 20kmp/l and some saying hardly 12kmp/l? anyone with genuine consumption plz tell me, the budget would be 8 lakhs.
Yaar i have owned a mira 2007 4 door for almost a month now and so far in 2 refills its has given me 10-12 kmpl , 10 kmpl on a new car driving experience with pushing the car at times and ac on all the time and the 12 with a light foot and oil change, air/oil filter changed with ac on 70% of time. Now i am going to get its plugs changed and get it serviced and hope it will at least reach 15 kmpl
i had a 2 door mira with 3 speed auto. It used to give me 15~16~17 km/l in pindi/islamabad with or without AC.
4 speed auto should be even better. U should check the oils, filters and plugs.
