Salaam Brothers,

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic/workshop for Daihatsu Mira 2007, in Islamabad.

Also, a general checklist of regular maintenance tasks would also be helpful.

I have just bought a Mira 2008, But doesn't know which type is this

It has retractable side mirrors, Matching side mirrors with indicators, climate control AC, Gears in Dashboard, Lights in sun shades etc

is it a X limited version?

Moreover, the gear states PRNDSB
is it a CVT? if it is, then what is the benefit of CVT and what is S and B for?
i guess B is for breaking for down hill roads
But what is 'S' for?

Chasis No states: L275S

and what will be the market price for this version? if 2008 model 2012 registered and Islamabad Registered

I am in the market for a 2012 - 2014 Daihatsu Mira G Drive, unregistered. Unfortunately most cars in the market have one or two pieces touchup. Any sellers?

Looks like X... but the actual variant is hidden in the last four alphbets like GBGF, GMMF.. L275S-GBGF..

S for slopes like murree uphill down hill and B for braking like pir shohawa.

I had some questions about it...

1) What is the best oil to be use in Mira, I went to an Oil shop & he told me ZIC is best with 10W-50 and that's what i got.
2) Where can i get it checked? Best Workshop (Mechanic) in Lahore for Mira as i want to get a complete thorough check up of my car?
3) I am not satisfied with the A/C performance. I heard it's one of the best and it is THE BEST with a very good fan throw as long as car's running. When the car stops, AC stops working as well specially in DAY TIME. Is this problem with all Mira's or mine specifically? It's very difficult to sit in the car specially in this heat stuck in the city traffic. Kindly give me a solution as well.

Ac is very good. Never stops but trips a lot. Get it checked. It it mira custom??

You can easily use a mira in your area, if you can take it to Multan every 3 month or buy a stock of the replacable parts because I guess they won't be available in Sadiqabad. You can buy a decent car from Jail road or DHA boulevard Walton cantt Lahore, the latter is known for larger vehicles though. There are some reputable importers who can help you out. try contacting @karnol he sure can source a great car for you.

Just original engine oil, oil and air filter and you're good to go for another 3 months

If you face any problem, You can get it resolved by the professionals at Toyota dealerships through out Pakistan, There must be one in Multan. The 660cc engines are not so complicated.
