Aoa Move lovers, I hope you are all well.

I am having Move 2012 Model, Car mileage is as below

Long route = Above 20KM/L

Local = 11 to 12 KM/L with AC

Is it okay?

I got installed new AC with toyota Duet compressor and new China condernsor, car seems to be taking little load on AC.

I know a bit about oil viscosity and how it changes with temperature changes but would you explain why did you recommend the stated oil ratings. As I do not own the owner's manual, I won't know if it is manufacture recommended or not.

And yes, I changed after a 2.5 month gap with a mileage of 4k. I am currently using Zic 10w-40. Is it ok to use it for now and change oil to the recommended rating?

yes either of these are manufacturer recomended, i dont own a manual but i have a sticker under bonnet stating these

changing to thinner oil will ease up your car, you will feel it to be light and it will also give better mileage
i myself am using 5w-30 and thinking to move to 0w-20

I got air filter installed in the morning from Muzamil oil change on Johar town. I got it for Rs, 220. The only difference in the new and old one is that the latter has a plastic divider in the middle. Rest is more or less same.

Given these cars heavily rely on the battery(Push start, doors sensors, eco idle etc). How do you make sure your battery does not give up on you? I mean I try to keep an eye on the water levels but you never what might happen to it.

And I only got one smart key with the car. Was I supposed to get two?

yes using a non recommended one can decrease mileage

Best is to use Genuine if you can find or Leppon as second best

Engine Oil:
0w-20 or 5w-30 in any good brand

Gear Oil:
i think its the toyota CVT one easily available at toyota dealships

Total genuine move is 1 to 2 lac more expensive as compared to accendantal
Total genuine has almost no problem

filter house claims to be selling genuine one but i am not sure if its genuine
leppon one can be bought from makki oil store in faisal town or near wapda town gol chakkar
i personally am using leppon, costs around 450

If u go to filter house also visit "noor filter house" in street opposite filter house

Their rates are low as compare to filter house.
1st Ask the rate then give my ref. "Shuja ud din" for good dealing

Scura is also good one
Malasian papper used
Leppon is also good one
