u can set it too low boost,electronic or manual boost controller,from both of them u can set it to low n high boost,by low boost i would suggest to stick to the boost engine is tuned at(can be seen by putting a boost guage)
Changing the settings back on electronic boost controller is a piece of cake

SIR I WANTED TO ASK U DOES A ELECTRONIC BOOST CONTROLLER WORK IN SUCH A WAY DAT WHEN U R RUNNING UR CAR IDELY U CAN SIMPLY SET UP AT ZERO TURBO BOOST I mean turbo not working at all so that ur fuel consumption s going good moreover u r not doing harm by all time running ur setup on turbo
and then simpley turning back the seetings so dat turbo runs when u do drag r something?????

Guys, he's talking about a Nat-Asp 1000cc engine, not the 660cc Turbo version. The fault may be a restricted exhaust (choked catalyst or muffler, maybe the mechanic stuffed a rag inside and forgot to take it out), weak compression rings or faulty intake (injector, throttle body etc) or something as simple as a dirty O2 or MAF sensor.

@Poster, this was six years ago, I'm sure you've worked it out by now or sold the car
