Daleem not HALEEM

i know, faraq nahn parta because we all are Muslims and i know everyone ov us respects Allah and His Rasool and all the Holy personalities, but i just wanted, its better to call it daleem

This really makes sense... I was scared for a moment while reading the first post but your post cleared my mind..... Yes there is a HUGE HUGE difference between "haleem" & "Al-Haleem".... "Al" changes complete sense of the word. Same as if we say book, it can be any book but when we say "The Book" undoubtedly it means Qura'n-e-Pak. Similarly any person can be raheem but "Al-Raheem" is Allah.

Is there not a difference between Al Haleem & Daleem ?
A lot of people have Allah's Name including my Self. When They die, Its being said Majeed died. So do you think it is behurmati too ?

Why dont you guys forward this to SHAN food products - they are hardcore movli sahibaan. Ask them to rename their GIANT dibba of haleem mix.

hmmm samajh gya... mei b kahun k Shaan food ki quality intihae ghatiya aur ishtihar bazi itni ziada kyun hoti hai..... Shan foods taste & quality is really pathetic.

yep - their taste is terrible - YUCK, yet I see nearly all of our desi people in US, UK, EU buy 100s of shan foods premade masala. Our dishes are dead simple to make if you know some basic rules. My wife does not like to use packet masala as she mixes her own masala in a copper bowl. My mother also does that and they taste really good. They dont even like to buy pre ground garlic ginger because it tastes funny. The very original art of indian/Pakistani cooking is slowly vanishing.

Btw from where can one find hygenic haleem ? I usually avoid eating haleem from outside.

^^ at home, best find a copper utensil to cook it in. for ghota a real easy way is to use a slotted spoon and remove the meat then use a fork to spread it out and keep aside, then take a cup ful at a time and put it in a blender pulse 1 or 2 times and put back - do about half of the mixture like this (no meat in the blender please). now take a madhanee and mash the haleem for evenness - takes 10 minutes - put the spread out meat back.

Dude make Daleem at your home by simply buying any of the Daleem Masala mixes like Shan or National...Thats hygienic as well as tasty

i had Haleem a.k.a Daleem a.k.a Saleem....yesterday. it was yummy.

Where I come from - cooking haleem becomes second nature - btw I combined my madness with haleem too once - i took a planetary gear set and mounted cored out cd70 front stanchions with madhanee on their end, The stanchions were mounted to the planet gears. The orbit gear was stationary and the sun gear was the input. This whole thing was mounted as a cover for daig. using a belt drive from a 1 hp motor. when the sun rotated so did the planets and alos with them the stanchions and madhanee - the springs made sure they remained in place and touching the bottom.

20 minutes and the haleem would be a stretchy paste.

Sold it to a "pakwan" near my house.
