am foreseeing a anarchy like situation across Pakistan in near future. The Sri Lanka example is right in front of us., select families ruled / ruined the country while their own wealth chest abroad got deeper & deeper.

Every ruling family of our country wants to visit Saudia Arabia - more specifically the holy places of Makkah and Madina in the last few nights of Ramadan with the belief that all their wishes will come true at the sacred places where few could go. In previous Govt too, our PM along with his wife scheduled Saudia Arabia trip in every Ramadan in last 3 years and visited Makkah and Madina then. This package included exclusive prayer session inside Kaaba and Roza Rasool (s.a.w) while fasting. Though, due to the sheer number of Shareef family people in this trip, I don't think they will get this special 'package' even if specifically asked by new PM, but let's see what Saudis will allow.

the (not required) information minister announced over news conference that no such flight is taking place, anybody from Shareef family want to travel has to take PIA commercial flight at their own cost only 5 people from Shareef cabinet will be travelling at Govt expense.

As long as foji are in control in Pakistan, and pulao and biryani are served, you will see exactly whats happening.

Now if you want to see how these guys loot money, lookup the construction costing of the famous orange train, the name of the builders, the suppliers etc etc are all on its masthead.

Construction companies established overnight by people who never went to school. And won contract by being relatives of people in power or by holding a gun and wearing boots.

If you want to fix this, catch them where it hurts the most, their pockets. And as taxpayer you are their master as you pay their salary. Remember the govt and military are your “nokar” and you have all rights to demand explanations from them.

Strange. We should rather appreciate and support the lady because her father was very poor and her mother was a nurse. Still by virtue of sheer hard work she became a billionaire in no time.

Secondly, what she's saying is absolutely correct. I've heard that all members of parliament as well as journalists like Ghareeda Farooqi and Asma Sherazi, have purchased tickets from their pockets. They are paying salaries of the 777 pilots and stewards, even the aircraft cleaning staff. Actually, these pious people are going there just to collectively thank Allah Almighty and paying homage after they have succeeded in removing a Jewish agent from power through a pure democratic process. Although, the Finance minister is now saying that he was rather an Islamic extremist because he used to quote Quranic verses during his public addresses.

Anyways, one should not criticize honorable and pious people all the time and doubt their intentions.

As long as you are susraalee or samdhyaana or rishtaydaar of either the judiciary or the federal govt or jaddi pushti foji or have foji taaya, maama, chaachaa etc etc. you are set for life in Pakistan.

People have spent years doing research and the topic of a guys phd was exactly that. Has IMF ruined the nations IMF claims to have helped. It is shocking to read. The guy gives references of how and what policies drove the country into disaster.

If the top guy in state bank is saying it why don't people listen to him. He says "Pakistan did not need the IMF, we were dragged to them for a bailout".

If you see what happened in 2008 the financial institutions threatened US congress and they "helped bail the country out of crisis" except one country which took a stand. You know what country ?

Iceland. They arrested all the finance top management and bank owners and said "you made the mess sort it out". and magically they reverted the credit crunch.

Man learned from history that man never learned from history.

The IMF has pushed for an "above the law" governor of state bank many times in Pakistan. Thank God some good men always blew the whistle.
