Debit Visa Card : No Money, HELP

the transaction time & time of FALSE card block request will go against you.
The website bookings.com will provide evidence with ip address & timing to your bank and claim their cancellation charges.

not many of us read the terms & conditions while using internet services to order/ book / service online. every online service provider have a cancellation / refund policy which we all ignore in excitement to enjoy ease from our couch.

be nice & be wise with yourself & your banking history. any false submission declining a payment to vendor go under disputed case & you get flagged for life as trouble maker.

If I deposit enough money in my account for what I owe them, they will automatically charge their money right? Or is there anything else I need to do? You're right, I should do the right thing. But how?

Ubl and standard chartered debit cards facilitate their customers to use them online,though it's difficult to put a dispute or send a charge back to your respective merchant in case of a debit card,as money once out of your current account get least protection from the bank,in your case the merchant rightly charged you for the cancellation if they have as you had back tracked on your agreement,their is nothing free in this world so cancellation policies should always be adhered to when buying a product

please goto your bank branch which issued you the Debit Card deposit equivalent of US Dollar Plus some extra amount and let it stay there. If you have online banking available keep checking over the transaction. inter bank trading of US$ is floating at US$1 = 105.70 ~105.65

no sir, you need NOT to do anything after deposit of amount in the bank account. but wait.
The booking.com transaction claim will land in your bank, within 15 working days from the date of transaction, You can request your bank to notify you for such debit request. - Thank you very much for paying attention and saving yourself, i know its not that easy to let go of approx Rs. 11000 for no reason., but my dear member self respect and dignity is priceless. You can see in mirror with chin up and with a grin say .. aysee taysee online transactions ki aab dobara nahi karna aysa..

1) If your debit card has rs1000 why are you even making transactions online?

2) If it has rs1000 why didn't the payment was declined?

3) If payment was made it has to be more then $95 because cancelation charges are always less then total payment amount..

What i think happened is rs1000 was your balance after the transaction was processed for x amount and from which 95$ would be deducted and remaining amount will be refunded

you are right. However, not all online transactions are completed by the service provider / vendor ' in real-time '. The vendor will claim the amount to 'financial service provider' [ visa, mastercard, etc etc ] and that service provider do the transaction with the Respective Bank of the card user.

a trick ... to obtain extended payment time. - do the [ only extremely needed ] online internet transactions using a credit / debit card after 1 PM GMT between Friday ~ Sunday, The process will take place immediately based on your credit history & the transaction posting date will be of Coming Monday.

1) I know I shouldn't have made transactions, noob mistake.
2) My question exactly, why wasn't the payment declined but I got the answer now.
3) Total amount for 2 nights were 190USD, as per cancellation policy (which I clearly failed to comprehend) 50 percent has to be deducted in case of "Cancellation Or a no show".
