Decided to buy Suzuki Liana Eminent

Eminent doesnt come wit FF cng, and engine kyun open hou ga yar.

Please tell me in detail what problems are you facing. It will be helpful to hear it from the owner himself

bro aap ko honest opinion don? dont even think of buying liana...i didnt used to say this before,but some time back i met onwer of 2 liana sports,nd he was so much fed up of the car...he was even giving me good offers for city k u wanna exchange? lol i said mai pagal hon? bro liana might b good car,but not all lianas r good,the quality is not consistent...koe koe achi nikal ati hy lakin ziada tar buht tang karti hain...if u can ad 1lakh,city wud b a better option,or else buy a 2nd hand city or xli ,but no to liana....but i wud say check sunny too..

Purchase a Liana and treat it like how you would treat a Honda City/Civic,(proper maintenance, good oils, and service through only 3S dlrs) and i think you should be good for as long as you keep it.

Far too many people forget that the Liana is a far more delicate and refined car than what Suzuki has ever offered in Pakistan. Treat it like a Mehran or Alto and you will definitely pay for it.

A very close friend of mine purchased one a while ago, approximately 2 years, it has more than 40k on the clock, and it is still going strong. Mind you he is a psycho enthusiast and takes care about his car like not many i have seen, yet he is a psycho driver too, and the car will keep performing for you if you take care of it.

If there was something soo seriously wrong with the Liana dont you think PakSuzuki would actually do something about it? rather than making a bad name for themselves by selling something inherenlty flawed. Suzuki might be making crap quality wise here in Pk but they definetly do NOT sell unreliable stuff.

Another point if there was something really wrong with the M13a/M16a engines then why doesnt something happen to the Indian Swifts or the imported Jimny here in Pakistan for that matter.

@@ Firmsoft!! Before booking my xli, I was considering Liana as well!! Though car looks good, but whenever i disussed that with any body, people said dont go for LIANA, dont go for LIANA, i dont know why!! Did some more spadework and when i saw the production and sales figures of LIANA of the whole year (on the Pak Auto Mobile Manufactures Website (PAMA), i got shocked, it was tooo low!! LIANA units were sold too less in the current year in 1300 cc category!! See below the figures

If your preference is Automatic Car, then there is a huge difference in LIANA price and City Price! Under this case u may go for LIANA!! But remmeber LIANA is 1600 cc and it will consume alot of fuel especially in case of automatic!! Initially LIANA eminent were imported, now it is being made in Pakistan (just confirm at your end from dealer) Resale of LIANA eminent will be least! If you are good in buying used, u can check 2006 civic prosmatic too! its a nice car and u may get around Rs. 9-10 lacs

Regarding registration, i think it will take maximum 2 days!! Who said 1 month..........? Your dealer will arrange your registration and take few service charges of that, around 2500 to 3500 extra!! Besides tax and registration chalan!

If your preference is not necessarily automatic, then evaluate more critically the Nissan Sunny (try and check imported one too) or go for XLI---- Belive me people criticise me that i did not book GLI, but trust me XLI is a hard cash, whenever u try to sell, buyers will be so much!!

Whether someone buy xli at 1239000 or altis at around 1800000, it will remain corolla!! but there is a difference between LIANA and XLI !! You are buying the expensive/highest category of LIANA, just try to jump at the lowest category of Corolla and u will have a batch and brand name of corollla!!

Never wanted to hurt u by changing your decision but just above was the evaluation for your decision making!!

As a member here said we are a nation of sheep and cows, we always wanna do wht others are doing. Honestly tell me one thing is new city and corolla are worth buying ? this city has the worst build quality and worst shape and look at the price. I am sure the sale of this city would drop by atleast 70 % compared to old city. I own a liana for last 3.5 years and my car has 93k on the ODO to date this car has never turned me off and I enjoy driving it every day. I am planning to change it later this year or next year and I will buy a Liana lxi / eminent again I just cant stop loving this car.

People dont know how to wash their face and are driving cars thats y liana is having problems, am not sure but have heard that ff liana has faults due to cng setup but we have members here who are extremelly satisfied with their ff lianas.

Go for it if you really must have an automatic (automatic inherently has higher fuel consumption and lower resale). Even though Eminent has a touch screen DVD which LXI lacks, but I'd prefer an LXI since it's not Automatic and comes with FF CNG. If an auto tranny's disadvantages are not a major concern for you, go for Eminent eyes closed.

Belta is 1000 CC, great JDM car. It has safety and great quality but expensive. It will be hard for you to find a 2006 clean civic in 1 to 1.1 mil budget.

The new City or XLi, GLi have nothing to offer besides their brand name and higher resale. The sale statistics only show our nation's mentality and is not a reflector of the car's performance, quality etc.

Liana interior , Liana's parts and maintenance and shape all that are better than Honda City 09. But offcourse it has not comparison with Corolla 09 (xli/gli)

@@ Lianarule!! Buddy this DVD dont matter, its a secondary item, primary and important thing is the car's performace and durabilty etc.

@ iceman! Belta also comes in 1300 cc!! Its a nice great car, but onlyl resale and parts is the issue!! Rest it is a great great car, infact better than xli i belive!! its automatic too! Buddy here in KHI, after 2 months back, i shortlisted 2 civics late 2005 and early 2006!! They were of superb condition!! were around 27000 to 30,000km! One was EXI manual CNG and other was exi prosmatic!! Asking around 10 lacs! was superb and both were first owners!! but i changed my mind to new XLI.

@@ firmsoft!! u can look for sunny costing around 1095000 (not automatic) or u may go for belta 1300 cc or 1000 cc. I heard price of used imported cars will be decreasing as govt is announcing import policy by the end of july 09. Some taxes and relaxation in import will be there!! u may wait few more days!

@@ Newton!! You are right, City 09 is worst hit car in shape. LIANA is better than this city!! Only honda has a prestigious name!! But u cant compare LIANA with XLI. XLI is far better than LIANA in everything!! buddy kia karein, if we are living in Pk, we have to see the resale as well!! Due to resale I have also booked XLI, otehr wise i may have gone for BELTA. I get xli in 1239,000 today and wana buy civic after 2 years xli will give me good value to buy a new car, but LIANA wont give good money , while buying a new civic after 2 years!! Bro, Its the best decesion to make in the current circumstances. The touch screen DVD player, very beautiful alloys, ABS,key less entry and bridgestone potenza tyres. What else you want from a car. I have one in AT its cool car. Thanks.
