all depends on what you want to do with it , if you like working ,upgrading your car then your love it ,if you do a bit of off roading your love it , if your driving 60miles a day then you won't love it as much .
if you have any kids they will love it, mine will always pick the defender over any other car when given the chance its a fun vehicle for sore .
I enjoy servicing mine every 6000 ,there is not much which cant be done with just a few spanners .
And with defenders not being made any more the price will always go up .
