Go for defender it is now availble with new 2.2 ltr engine which is rated very good.. 16 valve common rail... Fuel consumption is also good.. a brand new 4X4 has no comparison with any 10 yr old 4X4....

Just read the whole thread.. almost all the great think tanks have given expert opinion.. me as a pure Land Rover enthusiast will definately recommend LR.. new defender is much improved .. parts are also not very expensive.. been dealind in parts of it dont think LC parts are cheaper then LR.. i can prove it...
As far as comfort is concerned.. LC is far superior..

LR 2.2 engine is economical keeping in view high fuel prices.

Uffffffffffffffff bhai yaar ! Aup Keun confuse hain ? Bhai saab Defender is junk and ugly looking ! Mere Pyra Bhai go with LandCruiser....Zubur1o garee hai LC . And nice reale value too.
