managing such an event is not an easy task. for everyone it seems very exciting that when is the next event... but to be honest , how many ppl from pw were actually there? apart from the regular 10 users , no one!

plus the shopkeepers didnt give us good response. because no one wants to expose their flaws infront of everyone. everyone has a fear tht they might lose their customers .

and whoever u see in this event were somwhere or the other connected with the efforts of team deka. No shopkeeper participated well enough therefore having a next event is a big question mark....

dont get dishearted with low participation specially from shopkeepers just for the reason u mentioned. even over here most shopkeepers dont have an iota of knowledge regarding systems and they cant have their lack of knowledge coming in front of ppl. even over here when ppl listen to my system they say that "yaar bass nahi hai" and when they listen to usman's system they say k yaar bass bohat zyada hai music samajh nahi aata.

no we are not dishearted .... but in an event we need ppl. without participants, there is no event.

inshAllah it will go much better 2nd and 3rd time around

u r lucky to have devoted and helping sponsors and shop keepers
over here none of the shop keepers have any sort of knowledge about systems ,,,, i mean the best system they ever fixed was probably stock thakki huwi pre with 4 718 and 2 308 with some solid audio amp.

Same is the case here none of the shopkeepers have any sort of knowledge. They just know 718 is the best speaker and one 308 D4/D2 that's all wired on a 4channel solid audio amp or any other Chinese amp. Lets wait for the response then we'll issue next date for event.

I remember when i was in this stuff back at Haroon Radio there was a car with equipment worth 2-3 lakh (this is around 4-5 years or so back so money value was way more) and my under 100k equipment was literally raping his "buy all the expensive stuff and put it in" sound system.

It's all about mix and match and spending wisely, the most expensive stuff out there will not necessarily make your sound go out of this world. Just my two cents.

salam... first ov all i wana congratulate TEAM DEKA for such a nice effort and making this kind ov event possible here in pakistan.. i jus wana ask TEAM DEKA that what was the main motive of organizing this event?? just a competition??

the main motive was to have a show for car audio lovers.
just like some ppl who like to drive fast and race, there are some ppl who r true car audio enthuiast. this show was for them.

there was a competition, a chance to see different installs, a get together for all audio lovers, an official certificate stating tht u have won the comp, a lunch for all the dealers and shopkeepers, a chance for the local installers to see some modern techniques of installs .... these were just some "motives" or benefits of the event.
