Delayed acceleration, VSC off (blinking), Traction and Engine check lights On (SOLVED)

i got the three combo lights two or three times in all .. everytime the pattern was that these three lights with abs light turned on .. but when u switch off car and restart the abs light would not resurface .. i checked braking again and again and abs is working perfectly except that brake shoes r lower quality .. braking is good .. there might still be an issue in any of the systems but

• i dont intend to mess around unless some error light or problem arises
• i intend buying a diagnostic unit to keep doing this investigations at home (check my new thread)

A car guy, in my opinion, must have few tools in his garage and be able to troubleshoot mediocre difficulty issues with ease, at least on the car he owns.

well that is a good option to buy a Diagnostic Tool, but that is just over the surface diagnosing, that only shows what system are faulty. Complete diagnosing is a very different thing, you need a complete wiring diagram to understand the system or else diagnosing might not work !

Replace all coils over plug.

Most of us still prefer going to the mechanics for simple things like oil change, air filter, brake pads and spark plugs replacement. I started doing it myself sometime ago including servicing the throttle body, MAF/ MAP sensors, radiator flushing/ replacing coolant. Will try to clean the Cat Converter and O2 Sensors this weekend In Sha Allah

I have access to only my Honda N Wgn, a relative’s 2010 Corolla and a 2011 Vitz. Plus I’m thinking of creating a YouTube Channel and then posting videos here. Aim of the channel as of now is to review almost all the detailing products available in our market (for general people NOT business oriented detailers). But I’m trying to work on it as I can’t afford all products for testing and if sponsored, the sponsors won’t like straight forward reviews. So let’s see

Things are intimidating at the start but I learnt mostly by visiting workshops and standing over the mechanic’s head asking him numerous questions, making videos and also consulting the internet. Trust me, you could save a lot of money.

Yes i exactly do the same. Take my 2016 corolla to Toyota Motors and watch how they do the service, ask questions and do basic stuff my self like clean air filter, clean ac filter, do a brake service.

Did the same on my previous 2010 corolla and still learning stuff for my 2014 JDM wagon r

I also thought of making these types of video and starting a channel but ended up becoming a writer for Pakwheels so i have very little time to make videos and run a YouTube channel side by side
