w.salam brother , yes m fine ,
well that is exactly my point too , that yes u can overclock you cpu up till 1ghz without any water cooling as long as u keep a balance in the specs so it doesn't heat up much , while for bigger margins , additional cooling is a must , may it be heat sinks , or water cooling .
brother this is not mobile we are talking about , PC applications like games and video editing software can consume all 16 cores too ,
if you are doing some really solid video editing work , conversions or rendering ,
the benchmarks are not application specific , but they are like a TORTURE TEST , on specially designed applications for this purpose ,
and they push all the possibilities of your cpu to their extremes , and then display the final result .
FAR CRY 3 , this game can literally melt down your system is played continually for 4-5 hours. same case with some video editing softwares .
now it depends on the user , that where actually he satisfies.
secondly , why dint you recommend him an SSD , ? its like bottle necking the whole system , may u put a super processor ,
but a mediocre HDD can totally ruin the overall performance . SSD specially as a boot drive is a must for optimal performance . ( i am aware of its disadvantages too , but still ) .
