Hats off to you my dear friend. made a journey in a Beetle, Wow. it was an amazing effort. even we, including myself is reluctant in travelling by road on my newly model car, how we can travel, roads conditions, car issues etc etc. but u guys made it.
Indeed our country have a beauty, which we all should explore either thru road trips or by any other means and we should spread this amoung our friends and family that do visit these places before we travel to other countries.

if only i could find words to express my feelings on watching this thread .... this is an epic trip --- an eye opener for a loads and loads of people(including me) who now under estimate their beetles and live in fear of failure on a long journey

although ive done lots of lahore fsd trips back n forth ... but never thought to go beyond ....

yaar il write a comment again when i am able convert my feelings into sentences ......

@automakerz...thanks a lot...indeed our country is VERY beautiful...and while iv come across some places where one definitely needs a 4X4 to explore...most are not too hard to get to...i hope the excitement this thread has sparked results in some visits following ramzan!

@askhokhar...goes to show how a bug will rise to a challenge and shine through no matter how unmatched the opposition is
theres more videos in motion in store...water crossings, passing over glaciers, driving at deosai and of course, climbing to babusar...just sit back and watch...
as for right side...well there is a real reason for that...
firstly, the road was smoother on that side:P thats the obvious one...
two, the video doesnt show it but the road was crumbling at many points close to the edge...so unless one has to move for a car or something...we stayed somewhat in the middle...but we were all over the road really...where ever the way through seemed least broken...remember...she has very low ground clearance with all the weight...almost the same as a stock civic..

@ bugzy...thanks a lot mate! im glad this trip shattered the popular myths about bugs being uncool, cramped, unreliable, slow, breakdown prone and that they overheat!!
she did none!!!
the one breakdown we did have, well lets face it...if u grab a sledgehammer and start hitting any car, she will leak!! its hardly her fault rocks had been hitting her from the bottom...even still she held it together just long enough for us to make it to civilization...warna babusar main camping scene hota:P
