I really miss my last trip in August 2013 on my HJ60.

I wish to be there once a year and every year looking for an SUV these days.

How was your experience about your 2003 surf, fuel consumption, reliability, price? Please share details in pm, thanks

Sir @jehanzebnasir , I have been to Hunza till Attabad lake, Duiker Eagle Nest Hotel, Hopar Village, Kalash Bamburet, Chitral, Toli peer & now all the way to astore-Chillum-Deosai-Skardu-shigar-khaplu on Surf & never faced a single mechanical problem except that brake failure which was my mistake. even k surf k radiator ka pani tak nai kum hua MashAllah se..
I searched for 3 months for such a reliable ride. Thanks to Allah Almighty for such His blessings that i found that much clean ride. Thats the reason I named it 'Amigo' because its my best friend now.

except the reliability.. fuel consumption is not good coz it is occupied with DOHC engine 2.7cc not VVTI. It gives me 5.9 to 6.2km/l in city & 6.7 to 7.2 km/l on highway.
as I mentioned before that i searched for 3 months so i got the best one but expensive aswell. it costs me Rs. 35 Lac in June 2014 but that doesnt matter if one can find a better piece.

Why did you sell your HJ60?

Day 2:

Woke up early in the morning around 6:00am. We were ready to leave at 6:30am to Rama Meadows but got late due to Last unknown car parked at the end of car parking of the hotel. At last we traced the owner of that Jeep & left hotel at 7:30am, had tea in nearby hotel & got off to Astore.
We stopped at chilas PSO Petrol Pump for refuelling, but got unlucky coz amigo's fuel tank cover wasnt opening up lol. fixed that thing & left it open, but then the refueler guy told us there is no petrol now, we have to go to jaglot.. oopss...
So we left for Jaglot.. Reached there quickly but didnt find petrol on any petrol pump.. all were empty..
So left for Gilgit..
On the way to Gilgit.. just 20, 25 kms before.. ANF Forces chekpost stopped us.. they inquire where are we from... i told them that we are from lahore.. one of the guy asked.. "Tourist ho??" I said Yes Sir..
He immediately waved to others & said let them go they are tourists..

Found fuel 10kms before Gilgit City.. Refuelled & filled 2 tanks with fuel also & left back to Astore Chowk.
It was around 10am when we got back on our schedule. On the way back Waved "HI" to ANF forces, They Waved Back lol.
A brief stop at Three Mountain Ranges View Point, Then the adventurous Astore road started...
Driving on KKH is very pleasuring to me.. Its a wonderful Highway to Travel on..
There was 3 or 4 heavy landslides on the way to jaglot...
Going to Astore was my first time experience.. From Astore onwards to Skardu.. that all was my first time experience.. and I love it..!!
Thrills of astore road confirmed me that its nothing to be compared of Deosai Plains Road...
I have been to many many places comfortably & without any issues regarding driving... I have never drove as fast as I had on this tour.. & so much comfortably.. May be thats because to be on the road again & again or may be coz i was hasty to reach Deosai soon.
Amigo performed very well.. im really proud to have such a comfortable & passionate travel partner..
