if you want to reach kutwal lake/ haramosh base camp and laila peak.
consider the following route
reach sassi petrol pump at skardu road.
meet police officials there and ask them to hire you a guide/ porter. police is friendly and help full. you can also call ATTIQUE or AKBAR ALI as your guide to kutwal lake.
after arranging guide/ porters jeep up to dassu (jeep road goes a little ahead of dassu.)
reach sillipi village (1.5 or 2 hours trek from the point jeep road ends.)
i reached dassu at 3 o clock in after noon and so did my night at sillipi village.
next day start trek, it is gradually inclined but in un noticeable manner. easy walk till iskere village, cross mani glacier and just after mani glacier, there are flat meadows ideal place for camp (5 to 6 hours trek)
camp there, plenty of wood, lassi and BAKRA SHAKRA..
next day pack lugguage, leave luggage over there and trek to laila peak base camp, you can reach back with in a couple of hours. pick you lugguage and move to kutwal on the same day.
camp at kutwal lake, remember there is no authority up there to demand entry fee or camping fee. some mischievous guys may come to ask you for money in form of entry fee or camping fee etc etc...
haramosh base is abt 1-2 hours walk from lake.
on retrieval, trek back to meadows just before mani glacier, and ask guide to take you from barchey village side, you can reach barchey straight with in a few hours. trek is totally declining, no CHARHAI ETC.
from barchey if you have already booked jeep, than it will be available there to take you on skardu road at sassi. else there are public jeeps travelling in days time.
this route is the easiest one to reach laila and haramosh, also most beautiful.. but might be possible jeep track may advances in coming years...

sillipi village: lush green, apricot apple
iskere village: lush gree, same fruits
kutwal meadows: juliper trees, amazing view...
laila peak base camp, juliper trees, amazing views of amazing trees and peaks
barchey: yara jo fruit chaho milley ga, its the village of fruits.... amazing with beautiful people.. hope u understand.
dassu: barren but full of fruits
sassi to dassu: one of most dangerous jeep tracks i ever saw... barren, rocky, jeep trek to tatu is easier ....
