Destiny 2012 (musa ka musalla) foul weather

We are back from harsh weather treking in musa ka musalla region.

no. of days were not sufficient to climb the peak in such extreme snows hence we decided to divert towards opposite side of musalla.

Mansehra to shinkiyari to mainda kucha village (jeep road)
Mainda kuch village to jacha 2 snow bound trek

well, trekking in snows is always a great pleasure and yes it is a bit difficult to walk on snow. specially at noon times,

normally we set off for trek very early if we have to cross snows i.e. before fajar prayer...

in this trek, we tried to start trekking as early as possible. couldnt start trek in night coz at places it was dangerous and full sight is needed.

during behki to manna trek there were certain points which were difficult to cross due to heavy snows and no hand grip on side mountains. one of our member got his ankle twisted there

coming from mainda kucha village, the first settlement is jacha 1 and next to it is jacha 2 where there is a mosque as well,though it is of only one small room... we stayed there as guests and musafirs...

after passing a night in jacha mosque, we headed towards bekhi and than from bekhi we diverted to opposite valley of musa ka musalla peak.
