how did u apply the Wax and did the detailing ?

Wax in straight lines and Rubbing in Circles?
or the other way around?

no i did not apply the wax in straight line, i did it in circles, and buffed it off in circular motion as well.

well there is just one simple tip i would like to give, there is no need to put a lot of wax on the exterior of the car, because the paint only absorbs a certain amount of the wax for protection, the rest usually goes to waste.
A thick layer of wax on your car is hard to buff and a waste of wax.
Just a thin film of wax is enough..applying thin layers of wax twice is better than applying a think layer at once.

Just used it once, worked good on glass and metal. Did not notice any swirls after using it. It is not supposed to do that.

I have been searching for it for the last five years and found it two weeks ago at Attock fuel pump shop in sector H-8.

For the past two years I have been using artificial chamois (available at Metro as well) and it dries up the body without streaks and removes any residual dirt. Also works like charm on window glass.

ive never seen good quality stuff at metro(dha lahore) they only have chinese waxes and chinese fibre cloths..which shed fibre if you shake them harshly..i would go to montgomery road to look for this..although hyperstar in cantt fortress has some nice quality turtle waxes. havent seen any fibre cloth there but i would try to find one the next time i go there.

I dont remember seeing this thing in Hyper Star. :S
They have a nice car section, Much better than the car section that we have here in Metro Islamabad.

if about the turtle waxes..then they have some of them..the small pack is for around 400 something and the large one is for 700 something..other than just turtle wax they have some other variety too..can remember the name, but the box is red in colour

as for the leather cloth, then no they arent available in hyperstar..i said i would look for it there..hope to find some!

I bought this new turtle wax
it is called the Extreme Nano Tech Polishing Wax

could anybody guide me as to what it actaully is..a polish or a wax..as i am pretty confused with the title now since ive bought it..i needed a replacement for my meguiar's as i wax my car every weekend, and i dont want to end the meguiar's in an instant.

the wax says that it is a blend of superior waxes but then again it mentions that it removes swirl marks and scratches in a fine way.

Meguiars is much better. The wax you got is a type of cleaner wax. It removes particles off the paint surface and also waxes the car. Frequent use of cleaner wax is not recommended and should be used once in 2/3 months. For weekly applications, use wax only.

Also for better results, wax consecutively on two days i.e. wax the car on saturday and then on sunday get the car washed (without shampoo/surf/anything) and then get it waxed again. For best results, after second application of wax(on the the second day), apply a top coat. Top coat is used to provide the car a glossy like finish, most commonly used in car shows etc

ahan.. the problem is that meguiar's isnt available in Lahore, and i would have to wait for some time to get a new one since i would have to ask my friend to get it from the US on his next visit..therefore i wanted to find a replacement for it so that i would use it on alternative weekends.

so this polishing wax wouldnt do good..should i get this replaced with the Platinum series high gloss wax?
