@mani1^^
I find that highly odd. Why because I have tried the mothers pure carnauba wax vs the reflections syn wax but not followed by a top coat and the difference was pretty evident. The carnuba had more warm glow while the reflection had a more wet look good. Not too good in the beginning but when followed by the top coat it was pretty slick.
And the swirls on your car is not because of the fact that the MF cloth is useless it's just because the paint on your civic is so soft that the swirls come on it very easily. Even putting fingers across it does. It's more evident on a black car but trust mRNA friend if mine has a 2 month old white civic with 2 layers of tech wax every 2 weeks we can still see swirls. Use of a UQD is of utmost important if you want the car to not have swirl marks compared to just washing.

For black cars try and use the meguiars DC polish. It's a pure polish with no cleaner agents so it just pushes some more oils in the paint. Makes a difference if you are an enthusiast and crazy (like me).
As far as the step 2 goes I will surely let you know how much it's for tomorrow. If anyone else wants it I can just send it in a carton to Peshawar. I am sure about the clay. Not about the others will let you know that aswell.

Using swirl x would leave some haze as the paint on your civic is very soft. You need something even milder than swirl x. That is why I mentioned to use a cleaner wax for the swirls. The results can be gorgeous with DA polisher.
The step 2 is a beautiful product for having a slick detailed look. It partly removes swirls and partly fills up kind of like a cleaner wax except for no wax in it. Top it off with a syn wax followed by a carnuba and wala !!
