Detailing with products that aren't expensive

Put it in hot water for 30 minutes/ Even those purple marks will fade

Ive tried to clean it in luke warm water but no success...
I dont mind the purple haze:)

Procedure and Products used:
1) washed the car with Megaiures Ultimate Wash and Wax(48oz)- 1200Rs (Last easily upto 50 washes)
2) After drying the car applied "Astonish Spray N Shine Detailing Spray"- 210Rs (Can do 15-20 Cars easily)
Total cost for today's session is 30Rs Shampoo and 15Rs Spray=45Rs
Total time consumed 45Mins for wash and 20Mins for spray=~1hour

Outcomes:
Excellent, economical and quick

That's a secondary thing. The same can be done by hand aswell but it will take a bit longer.

The polisher I used was Billoxi polisher that was again cheap as compared to the DA Polishers and cost me 1650Rs 4 years back. So still the products used do compliment the thread.

Actually I think Biloxxi is the cheapest polisher available in the market. I am using it for the past 4 years and bought it for 1650Rs. As a matter of fact I change my cars after every two years so the paint doesnt require too many corrections and Biloxxi serves me very well. I also use it to polish granite/marble tops in my house. It is really very good and isnt dangerous. A few years ago detailing kera bite me and i have spent thousands on just trying every brand from Formula 1 to Meguiars Mothers Turtle Ice 3M. But it was a waste of time and money until i got to know how to properly detail the car use of sponges clays sealents polish wax pastes buffers or hand buffing shampoo's every thing. After a long time i learnt to detail the car and then i could even take out shine from Cosmic wax which is just 400Rs. And Detailing thread on PW gave me alot of help.

Sir, no offence but from your post people will get a feeling that only these products can give results. I am currently using BMW hard wax, Dodo juice Blue velvet on my car but this thread has a purpose thats why I only post after using inexpensive products in this thread. The purpose is to boost those people having very low budget and want a clean ride.

and for white color... White is a single stage color. Means there would be no clear coat on it.. So these micro abrasives would be eventually better for single stage colors. As there is no risk of micro abrasives eating the clear coat and expose the paint to the enviroment. Single stage has no clear coat hence its allready exposed... Hope you understand what i am saying.
So meay bhai, bayfikar ko kar Megs white wax khareedo and after every 2 months use kar lo.. I think 1300/-Rs or 1500/-Rs ki hai ..

I have a white civic 8th gen..is it also single stage paint??..i have meguiars white wax as well as ultimate paste wax..im afraid if i use white wax it may leave the paint too thin?..should i be worried or not? Please help:-)

Sir Turtle Ice also has good products and less expensive then meguiars. Mothers also has good products. I would recommend the budget guys to get Meguiars 26 wax and Mothers polish or 3M polish will be good one under 1500Rs and a good shampoo for a starter Formula 1 is ok, then if you have budget meguiars or turtle shampoo. In 3000Rs one can get good detailing products which he can apply 10-12 times easily, the key is less wax easy to buff and more shine out of paint.

If paint is dirty then first do a cleaner wax then meg#26 or gold class, i have not used white wax so can't comment on it.

Bro nice work on your Civic.. But you should always know what things qualify under detailing. Ignoring the details and just Wash+Polish+Wax never qualifies under Detailing. I can see swirls and scratches in the last pic of your ride on your 1st post. Anyways..
Every kind of Polish and Wax works !! But it works as per its potential. Many detailers have many many times told that even cosmic gives good shine.. But shine is not the only thing were looking for. Or are we ?? Detailing is an art, and to understand any form of art You need to have that eye !!! The eye to interpret the visionary thing which its seeing.
My brother has a 2002 SE saloon , many times repainted and full of swirls and scrtaches and doors dull and fainted paint due to repaint. But whenever he gets his ride serviced from any petrol station who use surf on cotton towels to wash. . He shows me his ride and say " Dekh lay bas service karai hai aur kaisay chamak rahi hai " Tu Sara din laga rehta hai ......
I dont mind his comments. as i know that he doesnt have those eyes / sight to understand this art !!!!

well said and explained brother if the starter of this thread dosent mind i was also using cosmic or formula butt after joining the forum and through ahmed yar and dc i came to the conclusion quality is never cheap there is a diffrence in products baki what you saying about mehran or other cars how many of the people you met do know the word detailing i didnt driving cars like 25 years now butt come to know about detailing after reading this forum and ahmed yar himself and belive me i have an inexpensive car butt i do try to get quality products now bcz i can see the diff my self now and belive me if you use quality product on your car you will too

I have a city 2012 White color, and i am a beginner in detailing stuff. can anyone guide me through the products i should start with ?
i am using turtle ice was shampoo n was using formula1 till now.
need a bit of guidence about using a polish or a wax or both n HOW?
a bit about the products to use i mean to keep a balance between price and quality keepin in mind "a beginner"
