lol how can a 3 series and civic be compared. Beamer might have few less horses but considering BMW's superior torque figures than civic; to be exact 50 nm more and 8 speed gearbox it outruns civic, it gives a better 0-60 time(8.9sec). To maintain the drivability BMW has max torque at 1350RPM to keep it going without revving it hard; giving it proly same or even better mileage despite its heavier body.

i can do 0-100 in 8.5 secs in my manual civic and definitely the topic speed will be better than bimmer

This is best option.... Much better than otherts.
Toyota comes with 121 Hp n its quite good....
Now 136 Ho turbo german will be more responsive than civic
Bcz. it combines technology...weight....overall engineering...
So this must b a hit .....

wow very good you re comparing 3 series with civic and corolla.This car should have more power than civic and corolla otherwise its a waste of money.Better get a 335i.This deserve more power than a civic

I would like to disagree a bit. I like German cars a lot. I have a Mercedes in my bag and a Japanese car as well. Toyota's Lexus line has recently beaten all other brands in J D Powers' 2012 IQS (Initial Quality Study) with both Mercedes and BMW coming a distant 9th and 10th respectively: 2012 U.S. Initial Quality Study | J.D. Power Autos. Mr. Toyoda has taught the whole world how to build cars. Lexus, my word is a quality car. Toyota announced to enter the luxury car line in the mid 80s when it announced to launch its Lexus line and everybody was surprised to see a $40,000 car competing with a Mercedes (S class) and BMW (7 series) with both priced at around $70,000. Now Toyota has beaten everybody else in quality telling the whole world what its Lexus means. It is a Japanese car and its quality is second to none, better than a Mercedes or a BMW.
