My LC behaves in a similar fashion but the needle is never this close to H on cold start and never this near to L once warmed up. Mine is a 1FZ-FE

When was last time atf was changed and was the filter replaced and what's the condition of valve body

I am using Havoline. Needle stays at 2nd mark at cold start. After it reaches optimum temp, it hovers around the 3rd mark. During driving it keeps moving (fluctuates) with the RPM but except very hard acceleration and high RPM it does not touch H at all. In fact max it crosses the 2nd bar (teeny bit).
if you are stuck in tarffic and AC is on, when the compressor trips it sometimes drops down (again a teeny bit) from the 3rd bar (just like the picture). Hope it helps. I am still waiting for the update on your "Totka"

Have u cleaned manifolds as over the years alot of carbon would have been blocking the passage let me share a link also which will help u understand what I am talking about

Have u watched the video which I posted it will answer ur query why egr is blocked and manifold on the other side of engine also needs to cleaned and when u will open it alot of oil will be there so help ur engine breath rest experts have already commented alot after clean up just use the vehicle and stop going to workshops.

before you panic i strongly recommend change the oil pressure pod which look like this item close to oil filter

he is the best one I even came acorss. I got some things done from him and I am still satisfied by the workmanship.
I am from Karachi but I prefer getting the difficult things to be done by him. Soon my TLC is going to Lahore for another work. I know for sure he will not only identify then issue which is he actually diagnostics and will fix it like a pro.
