Personally, I have seen many charades with D15 engines. They fit in the engine bay in proper proportions and can be driven as daily runners.Though the availability of a properly running engine can be a question mark but they are really easy to maintain.
Fitting and rotating engine is not a problem....and no swap is impossible...... internationally people have LS swapped Suzuki st308 aka bolan and LS swapped even Toyota Corollas and Mercedes.....but here in Pakistan.....first engine mounts are aligned with simple inchi tape....which deviates the axles from their axis........even if they align properly.....sump starts kissing ground......then they lift it a bit with spacers.....the road grip is lost.....then they uplift the engine ......rusulting in fatigue of outer CV joints.....they shot every 6 months........,then when ur engine is above the level of radiator........ there comes huge air pockets which cause those stupid heating problems........this is the only one set of problem..... finding big hub of gttx or gtti and brake disks and calliper is another set of issue
