In the Avtar(your display picture), one can see a Honda Civic, if that is your car than kindly DONOT use any other coolant than the Honda genuine coolant.

Just buy a bottle of ordinary coolant (Rs. 80 to 120/- only) and pour it into the radiator. I can assure there will be no problem of rusting, or water boiling in radiator. Over heating of the engine is mostly because of the faulty radiator fan and/or its related temperature sensing mechanisms, and faulty water body. If there is just plain water in the radiator (full) and fan is working properly then engine should never over heat (if other things of the engine are not bad, like water-body, gaskets etc ...).

I have honda and so i should be using honda recommended coolent.But can anyone tell me where to get it?from honda dealers or from any shop.

You can get the genuine Honda coolant from authorised Honda 3S dealership, not available in the open market!

I have tried to explain why would you need a genuine Honda coolant in your car in the previous post!
Here it should be mentioned that I am a fan of ZIC products and they also make good coolants as well, however after search I found out that it may Not be a good choice for honda therefore I decided to go for genuine honda.

Another example would be that if someone is not sure type of coolant recommended for the car, use the Caltex Long Life (orange color) it will be heavy on your pocket but it is the best and the latest technology.
Other than that you have the Korean coolants like GS, LLC and ZIC out there.

Have NO experience with the toyota or suzuki. Have no information about the type of radiators, seals and water pumps they make so I can not advise you on that.

But I can say it is a best practice to use Honda Genuine Type 2 coolant (which ever color that may be) for your honda engines.

well doesnt matter, the color is there for marketting purpose only i think, ppl wont buy transparent stuff labeled coolant, they need to see it...the color has a psycological effect. go for a better brand

yaar from where can i get zic coolant?

also yesterday i saw another coolant in pink colour( but it was very high price & written that it has high sp. gravity & more viscous so not recommend for petrol,only to use with diesel engine ( price was Rs. 1200)

while on green it was written that low viscosity & low sp. gravity so recommended for petrol vehicles (price was Rs.650)while normal turtle bottle cost just Rs. 80-90
