Great thread...salute to every one doing such high tech things! I got addicted to such projects back in early 90s reading Amli Science (if I am recalling correctly). Seeing so many great guys in this thread; I have a question
Back in our days; seeing our own name on screen used to be fun; but these days kids are so much used to high end things by playing games on consoles and surfing internet that they dont get inspired so easily. This is why I was thinking that with help of some electronics and seeing things in real will definitely will be inspiring.
I want some Easy to use Kit with some CPU that can be programmed through USB in some high level language like C/C++ etc and such mini projects can be done on it; things should be super easy so that kids in house and neighbourhood can get inspired and instead of wasting time on XBox and PlayStation can indulge themselves into nitties and gritties of these things that definitely will help them later. So need suggestions for such kits that is available preferably in local market or can be imported easily!
