i strongly recommend you synthetic oil, its not only improve accelration , good for engine long life and also better fuel avg...

On next service after 1500km, i ll give a try to synthetic oil. Please suggest me one.

mobil 1 fully synthetic 5w/50 with golden cap is best avialability in pakistan its rs4900/ 4liter just buy from reliable source as fake packings also roaming here.

i also heard very good reviews about caltux havoline fully synthetic in golden packing its new packing coming in 5w/40 ( before it was 5w/30) price rs2900/4 liter ( its also impoting from thailand )

how about the SHELL SYNTHETIC which is being advertised a lot these days with the magic word of FERRARI

and it would be nice if people can also let us know the PLACES in their respective cities, where one can find GENUINE oil products

Further Ahmed bhai, I read that they claim oil change after 20K Kms but in Pakistan we should change it after 10K KMs, right?

I usually give my car to 3S dealer and it remains on their disposal. The oil they pour in my engine requires change after 5000K, if fully synthetic lasts for 10K then its not a bad deal even in 4.9K Rs.

I will not go for Shell as RoBM suggested, I will look for Mobil 1, please do share if you find place where gen. oil is available.

before shelll syn oil comes 5w/40 but now a days its avibale in 5w/30 which in such hot weather not appropriate.

+1. I would suggest 100% same as ahmad bhai. Mobil1 is the best choice for our environment. Though they guarantee the usage till 20k kms but still, 10k kms in our environment is toooo much for engine oil. I don't think its expensive for a person who covers less than 3k kms in a month.

you haven't seen the way shell lubricants are manufactured. (H) thats why.

its not like i like caltex , infact my wife having 06 alto and from very first day using shell hx7 ( blue daba ) 10w/40
same oil used in my ex ride civic 2004 exi and satisfied, i personaly think shell hx7 better than caltex havoline but for synth, i rate caltex havoline fully synth more weightage over shell due to 5w/40 + its imported and not local manufacturing

about mobil 1 checking from my karachi friends and come back to you shortly

already requested 2 of my friends in karachi for mobil 1 source , as soon get any info will come back to you
you will love this oil as mine car become soooo light and feel like flying in air instead of running on road, appreciable change in accelaration as in 1.3 liter engine before car seems under power
