well i am not sure which paint these local assemblers using but orange peel mainly interlink with base prepration of car skin before paint , painting process method , heating chamber controls etc etc
honda was very good in paint till 2005 but from 2006/7 their paint quality really down in comparison from toyota 08 onword, toyota paints realll coming like mirror , u can see above my black rolla pics

ahmed bhai im not sure about toyota but honda uses kansai paint and paints it at 26 degrees Celsius, no baking at high temprature

I also recently got a new honda city in silver colour so i would like your suggestion for some detailing work to bring out the silver shine:) So please suggest me some detailing products and the methods that i could use to bring out the shine.Also suggest some methods or products to bring out the shine in my 2004 cyprus blue honda city.

I went for Dunlop Sp 3000 185/65/R15 tyres for my car.They came for 7300 a piece and old one went for 3000 a piece.195 tyres dont really suit the car as they decrease the fuel efficency.

Also i suggest every city owner to install a rear sheet under the engine bay.If you look there a plastic protection sheet missing in the midde under the the engine bay.It is quite important to protect the engine from damage.It can be bought from honda for almost 1000-1500 but worth it.

post #101 "option #2 " for your new silver city, well u can use same option on ur blue 2004 ride but it would be better if u share some pics of it to see paint condition.
u can read directions on back of each product to use however still i am here if u need my assistance

Also as far as the plastic cover is concerned i dont really have my car with me so cant really show you the plastic cover but i have taken a honda city engine bay picture form the internet to show you just a general idea.

Now if you look downwards at the position i have shown, you will see an empty gap .Now basically a plastic cover is placed in the empty space. So you might see that the plastic cover is quite important to protect the engine underbay. I havent insalled it but will install it when i go for the 1000kms inspection to honda. My mammoo told me about this plastic cover.He has got it installed on his car when he got it from the showroom. i hope i have cleared what i am trying to say:)

Ahmed bhai why don't you paint your rear mud flaps of ocra as of bumper,they would look good.

aamir bhai i have seen few cars who did after sale paint works on mud flaps but after some time paint starts peeling off
well no doubt color matched mud flaps looks more impressive

arhum bhai clearly got the point u talking about jazakallha:), i will check the price from honda as well as from open market as usualy honda sell such accessories at much higher prices , just one concern may be its good for western cold countries as pakistan weather much hot so may be the reason honda atlis intentionaly kept it open for easy air flow to maintain temp for engine bay

U Talking about Engine Shield???

It costed me Rs. 720, from Honda Fort.

Its just small piece of sheet to protect engine from mud etc, useful for upcoming monsoon season
